The renovation works at the Healthier World Hall included changing roofing sheets at a height of 15 meters to ensure durability and weather resistance, complete wall repainting at height for a cleaner aesthetic, brand new floor installation for safety, new aluminum partitioned offices and new electrical and ICT rooms for essential equipment at the facility.
The Healthier World Hall is dedicated to producing the Mosquito Shield™ spatial repellant - a game changing product designed to combat malaria by reducing mosquito presence in households.
The production facility allows the client to leverage their competencies in manufacturing and global supply chain management. Producing spatial repellents in Kenya has created over 150 new jobs for local residents.
The products repel mosquitos in and provide protection for up to a month (Mosquito Shield™) or up to eight months (Guardian™).
Both products have completed a series of clinical trials in Indonesia and Peru and are currently enrolled in clinical trials in Kenya and Mali – to-date results indicate that they are both effective at preventing mosquito bites and reducing disease.

This project involved a comprehensive upgrading of the existing facility with the most critical milestone in the works centering around the renovation of the Healthier World Hall dedicated to producing the Mosquito Shield™ spatial repellant - a game changing product designed to combat malaria by reducing mosquito presence in households.
Other works were undertaken in the laboratory, facility washrooms, canteen, administrative offices and meeting rooms.

The site works near Garden City Mall required specialized indoor installation that adhere to rigorous safety standards for worker safety and efficiency and was crucial for workers accessing all high areas in building for various works
OSHA estimates that about 65% of all construction workers perform some work on scaffolds every year and safety consideration is needed for weight bearing capability, type of use (heavy duty , installation), clearance between electrical hazards and , adaptability and flexibility among other strict requirements at construction sites.
