Kindly note that the below advertisement is not from the Mombasa County Government. In line with the budget calendar 2016/2017 financial year and as per section 117 (5) b of the Public Finance Management Act 2012, the Mombasa County Government already conducted sectoral hearings on the budget estimates for 2017/2018 Financial Year in November.

After the clearance of garbage from Msikiti Nur area in Changamwe Sub County, the department of Environment in collaboration with Sub County Administration declared the site a No Dumping zone. This comes after the closure of 5 other dump sites in neighbouring Sub Counties.The site has been a menace for the residents living within the vicinity. Residents have been asked by the department of Environment to comply and act responsibly in keeping the area clean.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO THE YOUTH
Kindly inform youth in your area that the Department of Education will be registering/recruiting potential Trainees for short and long courses partly sponsored by Mombasa County Government.
The Schedule is as follows;
Mvita Sub County Youths, registrations will be done at Tononoka Social Hall- on 17th,18th and 21st Nov, 2016 from 9am to 3pm.
Kisauni Sub County Youths will be at Mlaleo Primary School Education Centre on 22nd and 23rd from 9am to 3pm.
NYALI Sub County youths will be at MLALEO Primary School Education Centre on 24th and 25th November 2016 from 9am to 3pm.
Changamwe Sub County youths will be at Changamwe office of Education(Saver City Authority) on 21st November 2016 from 9am to 3pm.
This is an opportunity for our youths to access vocational and Grade test to Artisan /Craft certificates/Diploma
This is a special program dubbed 'tukuza vipawa' The Mombasa County Gorverment pays 70% and the youths pays the remaining 30% of the total fees cost of the coursework selected by the rested youth.
The short Courses Programmes are: Cake making and Decoration ,Food Production, Bread making, Cosmetology(Hairdressing and Beauty), Embroidery, Tie and Dye, ICT packages, IT Essentials, Painting, Solar Installation, Film Editing, Forklifting, Top Loader, Excavators and Sign Languages.
