Deputy Governor Njoroge Muchiri and I held talks with a delegation from Austin, Texas led by Commissioner Jeffrey Travillion earlier today where we discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest between our two Cities. We look forward to a lasting partnership.

To bring services closer to the people, I will decentralize Nairobi city county management further. I will create 4 boroughs and appoint city managers for each as prescribed under the Urban areas and Cities Act in order to deal with the specific needs of every part of the city. Once Nairobi works Kenya works.
