Today, our CS - Youth affairs, Creative Economy and Sports H.E. Salim Mvurya, outgoing SASDEF Oversight Board chairperson Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Jackson Tuwei and Fund CEO Mr. Nuh M. Ibrahim officially welcomed the newly appointed Chairperson of the SASDF Oversight Board Hon George Kithi for an introductory engagement with our senior management team.

​With a deep dive into our core operations, this visit sets the stage for continued excellence in effective and efficient funding of Sports and Arts in the country.

We are grateful for the outgoing Chaiperson Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Jackson Tuwei exemplary leadership and passion in transforming SASDF into a sustainable Funding agency.

We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter of growth under incoming chairperson - Hon.George Kithi guidance and leadership.

South African golfer Casey Jarvis, 22, wins 2026 Magical Kenya Open Championship at Karen Country Club, taking home the prize money of Sh60 million.

The final day of Magical Kenya Open was graced by His Excellency the President of Kenya Dr. William Samoei Ruto for the final trophy presentation reaffirming the government’s deliberate effort to invest heavily in sports sector.

Special Mention to Kenyan own Njoroge Kibugu for making the cut and showcasing a performance that inspired many and made the nation proud.

The 57th Edition of Magical Kenya Open which part of the prestigious World DP tour will be held in Karen Golf club from 19th- 22nd February.

Team Kenya consist of 11 Profesional Golfers, 4 elite amateurs, 2 Junior players and 2 regional professionals.
