This evening, I was deeply honored by the Igara Clan through a special coronation ceremony where they bestowed upon me the prestigious role of an elder. It was a powerful moment of unity, wisdom, and commitment to the future of our people.
The elders and members of the clan spoke passionately about the need for harmony among all clans and tribes across Busia County, reminding us that our strength lies in togetherness and mutual respect.
During the gathering, they also expressed their confidence in my leadership and urged me to seek the Busia gubernatorial seat so as to serve the people of our county diligently and inclusively. I accepted this responsibility with humility and a firm commitment to the people of Busia.
My mission is to champion leadership that unites rather than divides, and to ensure that every region, tribe, and clan feels equally represented and empowered. Busia belongs to all of us, and meaningful development can only be achieved when we walk together as one united county.
