Matthew 6:24-26 (KJV) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

People who don’t understand your pain or the battles you carry inside will often misjudge your silence, your distance, your reactions, and even your decisions. Instead of trying to understand, they create conclusions — and in the end, they lose someone who only needed compassion, patience, and understanding. Sometimes the deepest wounds are the ones never explained.
