Rider mmoja akielimika, wengine wanafuata.

Helmet bora inalinda kichwa wakati wa impact. Substandard inaweza pasuka instantly.

Demand quality. Linda maisha.

Kabla ya kuwasha engine,
Fikiria familia.

Helmet bora si option. Ni lazima.

Linda kichwa. Linda future.

A helmet is not an accessory. It is protection.

Every day, riders and passengers risk their lives on our roads and the difference between life and tragedy is often the quality of the helmet worn.

Helmet Bora = Maisha Bora.
Choose safety. Choose life.

We had our final breakfast meeting of the year as members of the National Helmet Wearing Coalition, hosted by Sandeep Radiar, CEO of Boda Plus, at their Ruiru factory.

A key milestone this year has been the establishment of a helmet testing lab in Kigali, Rwanda this is a huge step towards safer roads in our region.

However, the statistics shared during the meeting are a stark reminder of the work ahead, In 2024, road fatalities stand at 4,498, a 10.4% increase from 4,075 in 2023.
Here’s the breakdown of fatalities;
• Pedestrians: 1,722
• Drivers: 383
• Passengers: 829
• Pillion Passengers: 387
• Cyclists: 73
• Boda Boda Cyclists: 1,104

Tragically, in the last 24 hours alone, 19 lives were lost.

As we enter the festive season, let’s prioritize safety on the roads. Exercise caution, adhere to traffic regulations, and remember every life matters.

Earlier today our Founder and Co-Founder had a fruitful meeting with Dr. Collins Ondiek from the School of Data Science at USIU-Africa.

The discussions focused on exploring areas of synergy and collaboration in data analysis and road safety.
Together, we’re looking forward to leveraging data-driven insights to enhance our road safety initiatives across the region.

This partnership marks a significant step forward in our mission to promote safer roads for all. Looking forward to driving change together.
