Culture plays an important role in shaping societies. However, certain cultural practices that violate human dignity, equality, and basic rights are considered retrogressive. The objective of the program is to create awareness about retrogressive cultural practices, to understand the impact of such practices on individuals and society.
The 98th Kenya Music & Cultural Festival in Eldoret brings together performers from across Kenya to showcase music, dance, and cultural arts. It aims to celebrate cultural diversity while promoting unity, youth talent, and community pride. This year's festival is themed , Threads of Culture, Weaves of opportunity, which resonate with Kenya's rich and diverse cultural heritage and paints Kenya as a cultural heritage Mosaic.
