We were honoured to host Justice Alfred Mabeya, Presiding Judge of the High Court of Kenya, who delivered an insightful guest lecture to the ATP Students’ 2026 Cohort on “Structuring Legal Arguments: A Judge’s Perspective.”

Justice Mabeya shared valuable judicial insights on the art of persuasive legal writing, effective argument construction, and the importance of clarity, logic, and precision in legal practice. The session provided students with a rare opportunity to learn directly from the Bench and deepen their understanding of practical advocacy skills.

The interactive hybrid session was facilitated by Ms. Christine Kungu, a senior lecturer and the coordinator of the Legal Writing & Drafting Course. The guest lecture forms part of our ongoing efforts to bridge legal education with practical experience and professional mentorship for future legal practitioners.
