Earlier today together with East African counterparts, I took part in discussions aimed towards Countering Transnational Threats on Lake Victoria by Enhancing Border Security capacities & Coordination between Authorities in: Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania.

Delegates present in the dialogue consisted of; Hon. Minister of State for International Affairs Uganda- General David Muhooz, D.G Citizenship and Immigration Control Uganda - Major General Appolo Gowa, Assistant Commissioner Ahamed Said - United Republic of Tanzania, Assistant Commissioner - Marcelinho Bwesigye Uganda, County Commissioner Homabay kenya - Moses Lilan, IOM Chief of Missions Uganda Country Office - Sanusi Tejan, among other officials.

We delved on a number on issues pertaining bolstering border security. Together, we're strengthening our capacities to ensure safety and prosperity for our regions.

Productive day at Harambee House, Nairobi, discussing crucial matters at the Counter Financing of Terrorism Inter-Ministerial Committee meeting chaired by CS Kithure Kindiki.

Collaborative efforts with esteemed leaders like CS Njuguna Ndung’u, CS, Dr. Alfred Mutua, AG Hon. Justin B. Muturi, CBK Governor Dr. Kamau Thugge, and IG Japhet Koome are driving positive change and strengthening our nation's 🇰🇪security.
