The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) Managing Director, Esther Ngari, EBS and Yusuph Majid Nassor of the Zanzibar Bureau of Standards signed a Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to foster collaboration, alignment, and mutual support. The Deputy President, Prof. Kithure Kindiki, presided over the 3rd Annual Regulatory Authorities and Agencies Conference at South Eastern Kenya University, Kitui County.

The Conference convened regulators from across Government to strengthen coordination, accountability, and transparency, and to advance impact driven regulation that delivers tangible socio economic benefits for wananchi.

Also in attendance was the Kenya Bureau of Standards Managing Director EBS, Esther Ngari. The session highlighted progress in governance and coordination, alongside a call for faster, impact driven regulation that delivers real benefits to Kenyans. .^LJ

KEBS’ Market Surveillance celebrates ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation by the Kenya National Accreditation Service, marking the culmination of 13 years of dedication, discipline, and teamwork. KEBS continues to nurture the next generation of environmental stewards.

Today in Laisamis, Marsabit County, young learners at Lparara Lekilio of Merille Comprehensive Day Primary and Merille Senior Secondary were inspired through an engaging outreach led by Dr. Abdikarim Abdow, Regional Manager, North Eastern; alongside Dr. Redemta Cherotich, Chief Manager, Marketing and Customer Care Department.

The team delivered seedlings, water tanks, and had an interactive session with the pupils on the importance of environmental conservation, sustainability, and responsible stewardship of natural resources.

This is a generational commitment to cultivating a greener Kenya. ^FMA
