The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration, enhancing institutional capacity and exploring strategic partnership opportunities aimed at improving service delivery.

Today, I welcomed Enwealth Financial Services Director Kennedy Monyoncho during a courtesy call at the National Police Service Commission offices in Nairobi.

Our discussions focused on emerging developments in the pension industry and the alignment of the NPSC Staff Pension Scheme with current regulatory changes aimed at enhancing retirement benefits for members.

I reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to strengthening the pension scheme and ensuring secure and sustainable retirement benefits for all members.

Participated in a stakeholder engagement forum on the proposed remuneration and benefits framework for State Officers serving in Constitutional Commissions and Independent Offices, as part of the Fourth Remuneration and Benefits Review Cycle. The forum was convened by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.

Happy Easter Holidays

Attended the official onboarding of officers from the National Police Service and the Kenya Prisons Service onto the Public Officers Medical Scheme Fund (POMSF) at Avenue Hospital, Nairobi.

The new scheme dubbed ‘Usalama Cover’ broadens access to healthcare by expanding the network of accredited facilities from 800 to over 6,000 public, private and faith-based institutions nationwide.

Attended the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Monica Wanjiru Mbaru as the Principal Judge of the Employment and Labour Relations Court, held at the Milimani Law Courts, Nairobi. Justice Mbaru assumes the role following her election as Principal Judge, succeeding Justice Byram Ongaya, who was recently elevated to the Court of Appeal.

The ceremony, presided over by the Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya Hon. Martha Koome, was also attended by Principal Secretary for the State Department for Labour and Skills Development Shadrack Mwadime, Senior Government officials and NPSC Legal team.
