Today we held an Open Day for the Alternative Justice Systems (AJS). Our aim was to sensitise the public on the use of AJS. The programme has been running in Isiolo, and the results have been very impressive. Isiolo is the pioneer of AJS, and we have shown the world that AJS works. AJS has been instrumental in bringing peace and cohesion. Abdullahi Abdi, a member of NaSCI-AJS, commended the progress of Alternative Justice Systems (AJS) in Isiolo, noting that the county was among the pilot areas before the programme was rolled out to other parts of the country.
