Nuclear Kenya

Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board was founded in 2010 by the government of Kenya under the Ministry of Energy through the Energy Act Sessional Paper No. 4.

The objective of the Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board is to promote the safe, secure and efficient use of nuclear technology for the generation of affordable and reliable electricity for Kenyans. Its vision is to provide affordable, reliable, safe and secure nuclear electricity for Kenyans. The Kenya Vision 2030 envisions transforming the country into a newly industrialized economy where energy has been considered as a key pillar towards the achievement of this development milestone.
