πŸš€ A NEW DIGITAL CHAPTER IS UNFOLDING AT NG-CDF!

What happens when technology meets accountability? Systems become smarter, records become easier to track, and service delivery gets stronger.

The NG-CDF Board is taking a major step toward a more efficient and transparent future through the digital transformation of its systems across all sub-counties.

The ongoing training brings together Fund Account Managers and National Sub-County Accountants from 20 constituencies across the country, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to embrace the upgraded systems.

The new digital system is set to strengthen transparency and accountability, address auditing challenges, improve financial record management, enhance stewardship, and make it easier to track records and information.

The response from participants has been positive, with many embracing the new system as an important step in improving NG-CDF operations.

πŸ‘ Special appreciation goes to CEO Mr. Benjamin Magut for championing this digital transformation initiative, Mr. Mugita Gesongo, Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Mr. Jacob Kipkangor, Head of ICT, for their roles in driving and supporting the digital transformation process.

πŸ’» From paperwork to digital systems. From challenges to smarter solutions. NG-CDF is moving forward.

🌳 385 TREES. 4 SECONDS. ONE POWERFUL MESSAGE: OUR FUTURE IS IN OUR HANDS! 🌱πŸ”₯

Today, we took the tree-planting mission to Kurgung Boys High School, ahead of Mazingira Day on 10th October and what a day it was!

We were warmly welcomed by the Principal and had an inspiring session with the boys, focusing on environmental conservation, personal growth, purpose, and creating a positive impact in society.

The mission was simple but powerful: plant trees, inspire the boys, and support the school as they grow, succeed, and make a difference in their communities.

🌱 Every tree planted is a promise to the future.
🌱 Every young mind inspired is a seed of change.

πŸ”₯ And the unforgettable highlight? 385 trees planted in just 4 seconds!

Today, we didn’t just plant trees we planted hope, purpose and a vision for a greener tomorrow. πŸŒπŸ’š

UNDER THE TREE SERIES | NANDI COUNTY EDITION DAY ONE

Taking Government Closer to the People!

The Under the Tree Series Nandi County Edition is underway at Kaiboi National Polytechnic, Kabiyet Ward, Nandi County, bringing government institutions and the community together for a week of learning, dialogue, engagement, capacity building and access to public services.

The NG-CDF, in partnership with the Kenya School of Government (KSG), has organised a programme that seeks to enhance citizen-centred service delivery through community engagement, customer service excellence, capacity building and integrated Government services.

Anchored on the theme, β€œStrengthening Citizen-Centred Service Delivery through Community Engagement, Customer Service Excellence and Integrated Government Services,” the initiative brings together youth, women, National Police Service officers, community leaders, persons with disabilities and other stakeholders for training, empowerment and engagement programmes.

Day One featured a range of government institutions, including Huduma Kenya, IEBC, National Police Service Commission, NG-CDF and SHA, among others, giving wananchi an opportunity to access services, information and guidance under one platform.

The day also featured practical capacity-building sessions targeting different groups, including youth, police officers and National Government officers, with a focus on customer service excellence and effective public service delivery.

The event was graced by NG-CDF CEO Mr. Benjamin Magut and Ms. Susan Chesang, Head of the Centre for Customer Service Excellence at KSG, alongside other government officials and partners.

With wananchi turning up in large numbers, the first day underscored the value of bringing government services, knowledge and engagement opportunities closer to the communities they serve.

The week continues with more learning, dialogue, training, community engagement and access to integrated government services.

Listen. Engage. Empower. Connect. Act.

The first cohort of staff deployed to the NG-CDF regional offices just concluded undergoing induction on their roles, responsibilities and regional operations.

The deployment strengthens the existing regional offices through additional staffing and decentralisation of selected functions from the Board headquarters, bringing support closer to constituencies.

Speaking during the induction the CEO, Mr. Benjamin Magut, urged the staff to go to the regions and represent the name of the Board, the mandate of the National Government and the trust of Kenyans guided by discipline, professionalism, innovation, teamwork and respect for the chain of command.

He noted that this is the first cohort in a phased deployment, with additional staff from Monitoring and Evaluation, Internal Audit, Corporate Planning and Administration set to join the regional teams.
