As part of his formal assumption of office, the Ag. CEO, Mr. Benjamin Magut, this past week conducted a series of official familiarization meetings with staff at the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) Board . He also held separate but equally substantive engagements with Regional Coordinators drawn from across the country.
The meetings were primarily aimed at enabling Mr. Magut to formally acquaint himself with the NG-CDF Headquarters staff, gain a firsthand understanding of the organization's internal structures, and establish a strong working rapport with the team that drives the Fund's day-to-day operations. Staff across the various departments at the headquarters were accorded the opportunity to interact directly with him, fostering a foundation of mutual understanding and institutional cohesion from the outset of his tenure.
Regional Coordinators were equally engaged, presenting updates on field-level operations, highlighting implementation challenges at the constituency level, and raising priority areas requiring management's attention. The CEO took careful note of the feedback received and directed relevant departments to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of the issues raised.
Central to all the engagements was the collective deliberation on the organization's way forward, with Mr. Magut keen on ensuring that the Fund's strategic direction is informed by the realities on the ground and the input of its staff at every level. He reaffirmed his commitment to an open-door leadership approach, and called upon all staff to embrace a culture of excellence, accountability, teamwork, and unwavering dedication to NG-CDF's constitutional mandate of fostering equitable development across Kenya's constituencies
