FROM THE DESK OF HON. JOE MUTAMBU, M.P- MWINGI CENTRAL.
To All 2015 KCPE Candidates - Mwingi Central Constituency.
MY BEST WISHES FOR SUCCESS:
The moment has come for each one of you to prove what you have been preparing for in the last 8 years. Everyone knows you are the best students out there. I know you worked hard and revised with care. Let your hard work propel you to a speed so fast that good luck has no choice but to ride with a winner like you.Nothing can stop you from doing so. I Wish you all the best as you sit for your 2015 KCPE.
MY STATEMENT:
As our pupils prepare to sit for KCPE Examination, I am very heartened by the overwhelming support from parents, school leaders and teachers. It is testament to the quality of our learning that people from around the County come to Mwingi Central to hear about how we nurture all our pupils. During the previous County Education Day, Mwingi Central Constituency stood out tall to claim a lead in KCPE performance. Our students did us proud as they won an applause from County Adminstration and Education Managers. We may have made great strides, but we cannot take our success story for granted. We must continue to be reflective and forward-looking, and we must be prepared to be bold, to sow the seeds of future success. For this , I will point out the values and ideals that will guide our effort. I will focus on four key attributes of a student - centred, values - driven education. First and foremost : “Every Student regardless of background or ability, shall remain our Engaged Learner"..To support this, we will need: “to make every school, a Good School”;
“to make every teacher, a Caring Educator ”; and “to make every parent, a Supportive Partner ”.
This is based on our core belief that every child can learn - not just in school, but for the rest of his life. As leaders we shall continue to partner with adminstration, education adminstrators, teachers and parents in a bid to nurture engaged learners who are motivated, enjoy learning, and go on to fulfil their potential. There are three key areas that we will work on to make every student an engaged learner: (1) ignite the joy of learning, (2) provide learning support where necessary, and (3) design multiple pathways to suit different learning styles. With these few remarks, I urge all stake holders in education to play own roles with dedication for our education success and development of our community.

Another 36 lives lost in mandera.The goverment and the opposition are busy in contest of statement against each other.Everyone seems to run from the real issues.The problem of our country is not the goverment or opposition.It is not a tribe or religion becouse we are all one.Our problems are poverty,Unemployment,inequality and bad governance.This deprive us of the senses of patriotism because some of us feel they are lesser Kenyans.Uzalendo ulienda wapi?May the 36 R.
