Vite Kenya trusted us to fabricate their motorbike cages prototype and we are excited to see them launch.

Our upcoming MachineAni centers are being equipped to support the future development of shared production centres where machines are availed for contract manufacturing by Juakali artisans.

This project envisions growth of distributed manufacturing capacity in the future.

Through our upcoming MachineAni centers (micro factories) across the country, there are mutual synergies between JuaKali and Gearbox in upscaling and improving quality of manufacturing from the sector.

Congratulations Zuhura Solutions for conceptualizing and trusting to build the first prototype of a solar powered vending trolley.

After rigorous research, human centered design experiments & fabrication of the hardware parts, the first field test is active. Looking forward to launching!

We hosted a team from Kenya Industrial Training Institute where we discussed areas of synergies & how we would leverage each others platforms.
The team was exposed to our machining processes & got first hand experience in our world class Surface Mount Technology Production line.

This morning, a team from Gearbox led by ED Dr. Kamau Gachigi paid a courtesy call to our DG Henry Rithaa and the management team. The discussions centred on developing a partnership to enhance and by supporting local manufacturing.

. paid us visit where he got a tour of our makerspace, and understood the local manufacturing capabilities of our space.
