On June 21, Trump launched airstrikes against a foreign country without Congressional approval and without a declaration of war. Trump’s decision pulled the United States into yet another Middle Eastern conflict without the consent of the American people.
This isn’t just reckless. It’s unconstitutional.
Under Article I of the Constitution, ONLY Congress has the power to declare war. No president has the right to bypass that authority.
We’ve seen this playbook before: presidents sidestepping Congress to engage in endless, costly, and destabilizing wars. We cannot let it happen again.
It’s time to push back. In both the House and Senate, lawmakers have introduced War Powers Resolutions to block Trump’s illegal escalation and reassert Congress’s constitutional authority. In the Senate, Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) is leading the effort, while in the House, a bipartisan coalition led by Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) is working to force a vote on their resolution.
This is a CRITICAL moment. Will your elected representatives uphold the Constitution—or enable another unlawful war?
📞 Call your members of Congress now 📞
Tell your Senators and Representative to SUPPORT the War Powers Resolution and STOP Trump’s unauthorized use of force.

CALL SCRIPT:
Hello, my name is [YOUR NAME]. I’m a constituent of [REPRESENTATIVE/SENATOR NAME] who votes in [CITY].
I’m calling to demand that [REP/SENATOR NAME] support the War Powers Resolution introduced by [Representatives Khanna and Massie / Senator Kaine] to block Trump’s unauthorized military action.
Launching airstrikes without Congressional approval is a clear violation of the Constitution. We must not allow one person to unilaterally drag the country into war.
I ask [REP/SENATOR NAME] to:
Support and publicly back the War Powers Resolution
Condemn Trump’s unconstitutional use of force
Act now to prevent further escalation and protect American lives
Every moment counts. Every voice matters.
Congress must stand up—not only for peace, but for the rule of law.

When Shakespeare's character Dick Butcher in Henry VI, Part 2 said, "the first thing we do is kill all the lawyers,” did Shakespeare have it right?
600 years later, whether you believe there was an attempted coup on the US government or not, there is no question that lawyers were pivotal in the strategies that Donald Trump and his Republican supporters devised for him to stay in power.
Should we hold the lawyers accountable? Find out what happened, who was responsible, and what you can do to prevent it from happening again. Join us in a serious session about preserving America’s democracy and the rule of law and how to Vote From Abroad.
With guest speaker Michael Teter, Managing Director, The 65 Project.
The 65 Project is a bipartisan effort to protect democracy by holding accountable “Big Lie Lawyers” who brought fraudulent and malicious lawsuits to overturn legitimate election results and deterring them from doing so again.
