Kenyan Students Triumph at the MEA Future Leaders Challenge in Dubai!

The MEA Future Leaders Challenge 2025, organized by GameChangers, brought together talented students from 24 schools across the Middle East and Africa for a powerful showcase of leadership, innovation, and global collaboration. Among the standout participants were five exceptional Kenyan students who impressed with their creativity and teamwork, earning accolades in various categories.

Onesmus Kimathi and his team claimed first place with their EaseStay project, an innovative solution that uses AI to enhance accessibility, wellness, and personalized assistance for users. Their project stood out for its practical application and forward-thinking approach to addressing global challenges.

In second place, Diana Njoroge and her team introduced ‘So-Low’, a unique app designed to support solo travelers. With features like language translation, booking services, and travel recommendations, So-Low offers a comprehensive tool for those navigating new environments alone.

Recognizing his exceptional leadership and contributions, Abdalla Nasur was named the Top Future Leader Student 2025. His dedication and active participation throughout the competition set him apart as a true trailblazer.

In the special project category, Mark Murugi and Dorice Morong collaborated with international peers to create the ‘Cultural Integration System (CIS)’. This innovative concept aims to preserve endangered cultures while connecting travelers with local communities, fostering greater understanding and respect for cultural diversity.

The event also offered plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth. Participants took part in career workshops, collaborated on projects, and enjoyed a thrilling desert safari. Networking dinners provided a chance to engage with industry leaders and peers from around the region, enriching the experience beyond the competition.

The MEA Future Leaders Challenge was not just a contest but a celebration of global creativity, teamwork, and leadership. Congratulations to all the winners and participants for making Kenya proud and representing the nation with such distinction on the international stage.
