MTD was well represented by Eng. Nyamanga, Mr. Ambrose, and Mr. Kimunya at the Sakai Heavy Industries Limited Seminar on the use of Cement Asphalt Emulsion Stabilization Method in pavement design and construction.
The Cement Asphalt Emulsion Stabilization (CAES) Method is an innovative pavement construction and rehabilitation technique that combines cement, asphalt emulsion, and aggregate materials (soil or reclaimed asphalt) to create a durable, flexible, and moisture-resistant base layer for road pavements.
By adopting this method, MTD aims to promote more sustainable, cost-effective, and resilient road infrastructure in Kenya.
