Value of commercial disputes in arbitration hits Sh25 billion The value of cases referred to the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA) hit Sh25.24 billion.

The Centre's NCIA (Arbitration) Rules were enacted in 2015 and revised in 2019. In a bid to expand our services and in light of the change in economic times and clients’ needs, the Centre wishes to amend the Rules to enhance efficiency in the administration of Arbitrations filed at the Centre.

The Centre therefore invites relevant stakeholders, members of the public and all interested parties, to provide comments, views, and input with justification(s) on the Proposed amendments, which will inform changes thereof.

Written submissions should be submitted to the Centre using the template provided in the flyer below.

Deadline for submission is 28th April 2022

to when we held our 1st Mediation moot competition. The event was a great way to build capacity for our young upcoming practitioners to the ADR field.
