Today, I received a courtesy call from the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya National Entrepreneurs Savings Trust (KNEST), Ms. Rose Musonye Kwena, at the KIBT Building.

The meeting provided an opportunity to deliberate on strategies to enhance institutional collaboration and ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery to Kenyans.

I joined the Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and MSMEs Development, Hon. FCPA Dr. Wycliffe Oparanya, at the third edition of the MSME Connect Forum at Tononoka Social Hall in Mombasa.

This dynamic platform brought together MSMEs, government agencies, private sector players, academia, and development partners — all united by one goal: to unlock opportunities for small businesses.

At the Hustler Fund stand, we had the chance to interact directly with entrepreneurs, listening to their experiences and sharing how the Fund is enabling access to finance and supporting business growth.

It was inspiring to see strong leadership and support from Governor H.E. Abdullswamad Nassir and Changamwe MP Hon. Omar Mwinyi, reaffirming the importance of MSMEs in driving inclusive growth.

Honored to step into this role as Chief Executive Officer for the Financial Inclusion Fund (Hustler Fund). Excited to lead with purpose, embrace innovation, and work with an incredible team to build a future of impact and opportunity.
