Please be informed that the 2026 Nairobi City Marathon will cause temporary road closures starting midnight Saturday, 6 th June to 7 th June Sunday 2.00 M
Affected routes include:

* Nairobi Expressway
* Uhuru Highway
* Kenyatta Avenue
* Moi Avenue
* Haile Selassie Avenue
* City Hall Way

Key disruptions:
* Nairobi Expressway closed (use alternative routes)
* CBD roads, including Moi Avenue, Kenyatta Avenue & University Way heavily affected
* Sections of the Southern Bypass may also have restrictions

Race starts from City Hall at 6:45 AM, with roads reopening progressively.
Full clearance expected by 2:00 PM.
