Cabro installation works are ongoing along Hillpaek PCEA–JP2 Catholic Church Road, where Ruiru Municipal Manager Mr. Geofrey Muya inspected the progress of the project and assessed the ongoing works.

As we mark World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate our ECDE teachers who nurture, guide and inspire our youngest learners every day.

Today, Ruiru Municipal Manager Geofrey Muya toured the Cabro Block Production Unit at Ruiru Township Vocational Training Centre in Biashara Ward, where he got a firsthand understanding of the cabro-making process, from production to the final product.

The initiative is fully funded by the Kiambu County Government under the leadership of Governor Kimani Wamatangi, as part of efforts to support skills development, empower youth, and promote practical vocational training within the community.

𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗶𝗿𝘂 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗩𝗧𝗧𝗖

The Cabro Production Unit at Ruiru Township Vocational and Technical Training Centre (VTTC) in Biashara Ward was successfully operationalised today.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Directorates of Youth Affairs and Special Programmes, aims to create employment opportunities for young people while equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to produce cabro independently for the local market.
