ANNOUNCEMENT Cancellation of SASMO Cambodia 2018

The booth for STEM Education Organization for Cambodia has been busy with enquiries on day one of the two-day Global Alumni Convention. This year's stand had been decorated to show some of the activities put on by the organisation throughout the year and was manned by helpful and friendly staff.

The Suken Test 2017 Awards Ceremony took place this morning in the Conference Hall at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport Administration Building.
The mood was one of celebration and joy as students were joined by teachers, parents and Government officials to accept awards for their scholarly successes in the tests which are organised by the STEAM Cambodia Organisation.

Preparations are well underway for the Suken Test 2017 Awards Ceremony which takes place tomorrow in the Conference Hall at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport Administration Building. The hall and stage have been decorated ready for the 70 students who earlier this year passed the tests, which are organised by the STEAM Cambodia Organisation

The World Scholar Cup (WSC), the first round of which is sponsored by the NGO Steam Cambodia, is an academic event in which students explore different curricular aspects of a global theme. This year 11 students qualified for the final phase of the contest which is currently taking place at Yale University in the US.
The competition, which for 2017 was given the title 'An Unlikely World', involves students participating in debates, discussions, quiz bowls and other academic challenges on subjects including science, technology, history, social science, literature, film, the arts and current affairs.
The WSC has three rounds: the Phnom Penh local round, which is sponsored by Steam Cambodia; a global round in Hanoi; and the final round, the 'Tournament of Champions', which is the one currently taking place at Yale University.
