ទិវាបរិស្ថានពិភពលោក៖ គម្រោងគជ់ ចូលរួមដើម្បីពង្រឹងបរិយាបន្នយេនឌ័រក្នុងសកម្មភាពឆ្លើយតបនឹងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ

ការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុប៉ះពាល់ដល់ជីវភាពកសិករក្នុងលក្ខខណ្ឌខុសៗគ្នា។ ដើម្បីអបអរសាទរទិវាបរិស្ថានពិភពលោក មន្ត្រីរដ្ឋាភិបាលប្រហែល ៤៥នាក់ បានមកជួបជុំគ្នានៅខេត្តសៀមរាប ដើម្បីចូលរួមវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលគ្រូបង្គោលស្តីពីយេនឌ័រ និងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ ដើម្បីពង្រឹងសកម្មភាពឆ្លើយតបនឹងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ និងធានាថាស្ត្រី និងបុរសអាចទទួលបានអត្ថប្រយោជន៍ស្មើគ្នាពីកិច្ចខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងសម្របខ្លួនទៅនឹងអាកាសធាតុដែលប្រែប្រួល។

ក្នុងពិធីបើកវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាល លោកជំទាវ ងិន លីណា រដ្ឋលេខាធិការក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន និងជាប្រធានក្រុមការងារបញ្ជ្រាបយេនឌ័រនៃក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន បានគូសបញ្ជាក់ពីតួនាទីដ៏សំខាន់របស់ស្ត្រីក្នុងការកសាងសហគមន៍ដែលធន់ជាងមុន។ លោកស្រីបានមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «នៅទូទាំងពិភពលោក ស្ត្រីត្រូវបានទទួលស្គាល់ជាអ្នកដឹកនាំក្នុងសកម្មភាពឆ្លើយតបនឹងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ។ ការពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពរបស់ស្ត្រីក្នុងការកាត់បន្ថយ និងការសម្របខ្លួនទៅនឹងការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុគឺមានសារៈសំខាន់សម្រាប់ការកសាងភាពធន់ ជាពិសេសនៅក្នុងសហគមន៍កសិកម្ម សហគមន៍ព្រៃឈើ និងតំបន់ការពារធម្មជាតិ»។

ផ្នែកមួយនៃវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាល បុគ្គលិកគម្រោងគជ់ បានចែករំលែកបទពិសោធន៍របស់គម្រោងក្នុងការពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពកសិករស្ត្រី និងលើកកម្ពស់បរិយាបន្នស្ត្រី យុវជន និងសហគមន៍ជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចក្នុងសកម្មភាពឆ្លើយតបនឹងអាកាសធាតុ។ គម្រោងគជ់ បានគាំទ្រកសិករស្ត្រី ឱ្យទទួលបានព័ត៌មានប្រកាសមុនពីហានិភ័យនៃគ្រោះធម្មជាតិ សេវាប្រឹក្សាយោបល់ផ្នែកកសិឧតុនិយម និងបច្ចេកវិទ្យាកសិកម្មដែលធន់នឹងអាកាសធាតុ។ បុគ្គលិកគម្រោង ក៏បានចែករំលែកវិធីសាស្រ្តសម្របសម្រួល និងរបៀបរៀនសូត្ររបស់មនុស្សពេញវ័យ ដើម្បីជួយឱ្យអ្នកចូលរួមអាចចែករំលែកចំណេះដឹងបន្ត ដល់សហគមន៍ប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព។

ស្ត្រីដើរតួនាទីយ៉ាងសំខាន់ក្នុងវិស័យកសិកម្ម ការគ្រប់គ្រងធនធានធម្មជាតិ និងសន្តិសុខស្បៀងក្នុងគ្រួសារ។ តាមរយៈការពង្រឹងការទទួលបានចំណេះដឹង និងព័ត៌មានអាកាសធាតុរបស់ស្ត្រី គ្រួសារកសិករអាចគ្រប់គ្រងហានិភ័យអាកាសធាតុ និងរក្សាផលិតកម្មបានកាន់តែប្រសើរ។

គម្រោងគជ់ កំពុងជួយកសិករពង្រឹងភាពធន់ កែលម្អជីវភាពរស់នៅ និងប្រើប្រាស់សេវាប្រឹក្សាយោបល់ផ្នែកអាកាសធាតុ និងកសិកម្មបានកាន់តែប្រសើរ។

គម្រោងគជ់ គាំទ្រដោយមូលនិធិអាកាសធាតុបៃតង អនុវត្តដោយក្រសួងកសិកម្ម រុក្ខាប្រមាញ់ និងនេសាទ និងក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន និងគាំទ្រផ្នែកបច្ចេកទេសដោយអង្គការស្បៀង និងកសិកម្មនៃសហប្រជាជាតិ។

Climate change affects farming families in different ways. To mark World Environment Day, around 45 government officials gathered in Siem Reap for a Training of Trainers on Gender and Climate Change to strengthen inclusive climate action and ensure women and men can equally benefit from climate adaptation efforts.

Opening the training, H.E. Ngin Lina, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment and Chair of the Gender Mainstreaming Working Group, highlighted the important role of women in building resilient communities. “Globally, women are recognized as leaders in climate action. Strengthening their capacity in climate change mitigation and adaptation is crucial for building resilience, especially in agricultural, forest communities, and community protected areas,” she said.

As part of the training, the PEARL Project shared experiences in empowering women farmers and promoting the inclusion of women, youth, and indigenous communities in climate action. The project supports women farmers with access to early warning information, agrometeorological advisory services, and climate-resilient farming technologies. PEARL staff also shared facilitation and adult learning approaches to help participants effectively pass on knowledge to communities.

Women play a vital role in agriculture, natural resource management, and household food security. By improving their access to knowledge and climate information, farming families can better manage climate risks and maintain production.

Through initiatives like this, the PEARL Project is helping farmers strengthen resilience, improve livelihoods, and make better use of weather and agricultural advisory services.

ការផលិតអង្ករសរីរាង្គដែលមានគុណភាពខ្ពស់ តម្រូវឱ្យមានចំណេះដឹង និងការគាំទ្រត្រឹមត្រូវ។ គម្រោងគជ់បានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលគ្រូបង្គោលអំពីកញ្ចប់មេរៀនសម្រាប់ការផលិតអង្ករសរីរាង្គ នៅខេត្តព្រះវិហារចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី៣ ដល់ទី៤ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ដើម្បីជួយកសិករបង្កើនផលិតកម្មរបស់ពួកគេ និងទទួលបានទីផ្សារកាន់តែប្រសើរ។

វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនេះ ដឹកនាំដោយ ឯកឧត្តមបណ្ឌិត យ៉ង សាំងកុមារ រដ្ឋលេខាធិការក្រសួងកសិកម្ម រុក្ខាប្រមាញ់ និងនេសាទ និងមានមន្ត្រីកសិកម្មឃុំ និងមន្ត្រីផ្សព្វផ្សាយចំនួន ៣៦នាក់បានចូលរួម។ មន្ត្រីទាំងនេះនឹងប្រើប្រាស់ចំណេះដឹងដែលទទួលបានពីការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលដើម្បីគាំទ្រដល់កសិកររាប់ពាន់នាក់នៅទូទាំងខេត្ត។

អ្នកចូលរួមបានរៀនអំពីបច្ចេកទេសផលិតអង្ករសរីរាង្គដែលឆ្លាតវៃនឹងអាកាសធាតុ ការប្រើប្រាស់ធាតុចូលកសិកម្មដោយសុវត្ថិភាព ការថែទាំស្រូវ និងវិធានការចម្រុះគ្រប់គ្រងដំណាំ។ វគ្គនេះក៏មានបំណងកែលម្អកញ្ចប់សម្ភារៈបណ្តុះបណ្តាលដែលបង្កើតឡើងដោយដៃគូគម្រោងគឺអង្គការ iDE Cambodia ដើម្បីធានាថាមានប្រយោជន៍ និងឆ្លើយតបនឹងតម្រូវការជាក់ស្តែងរបស់កសិករ។

តាមរយៈការពង្រឹងជំនាញរបស់មន្ត្រីកសិកម្មឃុំ គម្រោងគជ់ កំពុងជួយកសិករក្នុងការបង្កើនគុណភាពស្រូវ កាត់បន្ថយហានិភ័យផលិតកម្ម បំពេញតាមស្តង់ដារតម្រូវការទីផ្សារ ដូចជា CamGAP និងវិញ្ញាបនបត្រសរីរាង្គ។ ការវិនិយោគលើការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលសមត្ថភាព នឹងជួយកសាងវិស័យកសិកម្មឱ្យកាន់តែរឹងមាំ និងធន់ជាងមុនសម្រាប់អនាគត។

Producing high quality organic rice requires the right knowledge and support. To help farmers improve their production and access better markets, the PEARL Project organized a Training of Trainers on the Harmonized Curricular Package for organic rice production in Preah Vihear province from 3–4 June 2026.

Led by 𝗛.𝗘. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗬𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗺𝗮, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the training brought together 36 commune agriculture officers and extension officers who work directly with farming communities. These officers will use the knowledge gained from the training to support thousands of farmers across the province.

Participants learned about climate smart organic rice production, safe use of agricultural inputs, crop management, and Integrated Pest Management. The training also helped refine training materials developed by project partner iDE Cambodia to ensure they are practical and useful for local farmers.

By strengthening the skills of local agriculture officers, the PEARL Project is helping farmers improve rice quality, reduce production risks, meet standards required by premium markets such as CamGAP and organic certification, and increase their income opportunities. This investment in local capacity will help build a stronger and more resilient farming sector for the future.

ក្នុងរយៈពេលនេះ មិនមានហានិភ័យនៃទឹកជំនន់ គ្រោះរាំងស្ងួត ព្យុះស៊ីក្លូន ឬការផ្ទុះឡើងនៃសត្វល្អិតឡើយ គឺជាពេលវេលាល្អសម្រាប់ការដាំដុះ និងសកម្មភាពកសិកម្ម។

Good news for farmers in Kampong Thom, Preah Vihear, Siem Reap, and Oddar Meanchey! 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭–𝟭𝟬 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 is expected across the Northern Tonle Sap Basin, creating favorable conditions for crop growth and helping maintain soil moisture.

𝗡𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀 of floods, droughts, cyclones, or widespread pest outbreaks are forecast during this period, making it a good time for planting and other field activities.

Farmers in 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗸 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 (𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗺) and 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 (𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗽) should remain alert for possible 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀. Regularly checking soil moisture and using water-saving practices such as mulching can help protect crops if rainfall becomes irregular.

មន្ត្រីកសិកម្មឃុំសរុបចំនួន ៤៤ នាក់ត្រូវបានបណ្តុះបណ្តាលពីរបៀបប្រមូលទិន្នន័យពីកសិករចំនួន ២៥០០នាក់ ដោយប្រើប្រាស់កម្មវិធី Kobo Toolbox ដែលជាប្រព័ន្ធប្រមូលទិន្នន័យឌីជីថលជួយបង្កើនភាពត្រឹមត្រូវ និងប្រសិទ្ធភាព។ បុគ្គលិកជំនាញរបស់គម្រោងក៏បានគាំទ្រផ្នែកបច្ចេកទេស និងបង្វឹកពួកគេពេញមួយដំណើរការប្រមូល បញ្ជាក់ និងប្រមូលទិន្នន័យ ដើម្បីធានាបាននូវការប្រមូលទិន្នន័យដែលមានគុណភាពខ្ពស់។

𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗟 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

How do we know if a project is truly improving the lives of farmers? The answer starts with good data. To ensure the PEARL Project delivers meaningful and lasting benefits, the project’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team, together with the FAO Office of Evaluation (OED) and the Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia, has conducted a 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 across Kampong Thom, Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey and Siem Reap provinces.

A total of 44 Commune Agriculture Officers were trained to collect data from 𝟮,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗯𝗼 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗯𝗼𝘅, a digital data collection system that helps improve accuracy and efficiency. Project staff also provided close monitoring and coaching throughout the process to ensure high-quality data collection.

The survey gathered important information about 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 before project interventions are fully implemented. This information will serve as a starting point for measuring how much progress is achieved in the coming years.

By understanding the challenges farmers face today, the project can better target its support, adapt activities when needed, and ensure investments respond to real community needs. The results will also help measure whether project activities are improving incomes, strengthening resilience to climate change, increasing access to markets, and enhancing food security.

The 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 is a key step in ensuring that project decisions are guided by evidence and that the impact of the PEARL Project can be clearly demonstrated over time. Stay tuned for the baseline survey report, which will be𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆.

The PEARL Project launched a Training of Trainers on the Harmonized Curricular Package for vegetable production in Siem Reap province from 28–29 May 2026. The training brought together 35 commune agriculture officers and extension officers from across the province to test and refine training materials developed by project partner iDE Cambodia, which will later be used to train and support thousands of local farmers in improving production practices and accessing higher-value markets.

The officers participating in the training are the people who work directly with farming communities. By improving their knowledge and teaching skills, they will be better equipped to provide practical guidance to farmers on climate-smart vegetable production, organic farming practices, safe use of agricultural inputs, crop maintenance and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). This will help farmers produce higher-quality vegetables, reduce production risks, and meet standards required by premium markets such as CamGAP and organic certification schemes.

The training also focused on effective and inclusive teaching methods, ensuring that future farmer training sessions are interactive and accessible for women, people with disabilities and other community members.

By investing in the capacity of local agriculture officers today, the PEARL Project is helping build a stronger support system for farmers in the future. This means more farmers will have access to reliable technical advice, improved production methods and stronger market connections, helping them increase their incomes while building resilience to climate change.

ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលទស្សនកិច្ចនេះ អ្នកចូលរួមបានរៀនអំពីតម្រូវការគុណភាពស្វាយ ស្តង់ដារកែច្នៃ និងការអនុវត្តវិញ្ញាបនបត្រ Global GAP ដែលជាស្តង់ដារទទួលស្គាល់ជាអន្តរជាតិ អាចជួយកសិករលក់ស្វាយនៅទីផ្សារលំដាប់ខ្ពស់ និងទទួលបានតម្លៃកាន់តែប្រសើរ។ ពួកគេក៏បានពិភាក្សាអំពីភាពជាដៃគូអាជីវកម្មជាមួយក្រុមហ៊ុន KFP និងបានជួបជាមួយតំណាងអ្នកទិញនៃផ្សារទំនើបជីបម៉ុង ផ្សារទំនើប AEON និងផ្សារនាគមាសក្នុងរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ ដើម្បីស្វែងយល់ពីឱកាសលក់ថ្មីៗ សម្រាប់ផ្លែស្វាយស្រស់ ស្វាយកែច្នៃ និងស្វាយដែលមានការទទួលស្គាល់ជាម៉ាកសម្គាល់ភូមិសាស្ត្រទំនិញ GI។

ជាលទ្ធផល សហគមន៍កសិកម្មនឹងបន្តពង្រឹងការងារសម្របសម្រួលជាមួយកសិករ កែលម្អគុណភាពស្វាយ និងពង្រីកបណ្តាញទីផ្សារ។ ផ្លែស្វាយដែលទទួលស្គាល់ជាម៉ាកសម្គាល់ភូមិសាស្ត្រទំនិញ GI នឹងត្រូវផ្សព្វផ្សាយលក់នៅហាងលក់រាយធំៗ និងទំនើបៗ ចំណែកផ្លែស្វាយស្រស់នឹងត្រូវផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទៅឱ្យក្រុមហ៊ុនកែច្នៃ ដោយឡែក ផ្លែស្វាយដែលមានទំហំតូច និងស្វាយខ្ចី ត្រូវលក់ទៅឱ្យទីផ្សារបោះដុំនានា។ សហគមន៍កសិកម្មក៏បានពិភាក្សាពីការលក់តាមប្រព័ន្ធអ៊ីនធឺណិតផងដែរ។

តាមរយៈការជួយកសិករឱ្យយល់ពីតម្រូវការទីផ្សារ និងកសាងទំនាក់ទំនងផ្ទាល់ជាមួយអ្នកទិញ គម្រោងគជ់ កំពុងកសាងគ្រឹះដ៏រឹងមាំ និងធន់ជាងមុន សម្រាប់ខ្សែច្រវាក់តម្លៃស្វាយ ។ ការងារនេះនឹងជួយកសិករឱ្យរកប្រាក់ចំណូលបានកាន់តែប្រសើរ កាត់បន្ថយការខាតបង់ក្រោយពេលប្រមូលផល និងបង្កើតឱកាសទីផ្សាររយៈពេលវែងសម្រាប់សហគមន៍ដាំផ្លែស្វាយនៅខេត្តឧត្តរមានជ័យ។

Finding reliable buyers is just as important as producing good-quality mangoes. To help Oddar Meanchey mango farmers access more stable and profitable markets, the PEARL Project supported 22 representatives from the Oddar Meanchey Mango GI Association, 15 agricultural cooperatives, and provincial government departments on a study visit to learn directly from buyers, processors, and market actors.

The visit comes at an important time. While 15 agricultural cooperatives in Oddar Meanchey province that supported by the project are currently supplying around 30 tons of fresh mangoes daily to Kirirom Food Production KFP Co., Ltd. in Kampong Speu province, border-related market disruptions have made it difficult for many farmers to sell all of their produce. By connecting cooperatives with new buyers and market channels, the project is helping farmers reduce market risks and create more opportunities to sell their harvests.

During the visit, participants learned about mango quality requirements, processing standards, and the implementation of Global GAP certification, an internationally recognized standard that can help farmers access premium markets and earn better prices. They also discussed business partnerships with KFP Company and met potential buyers from 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗔𝗘𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 in Phnom Penh to explore new sales opportunities for fresh, processed, and GI-certified mangoes.

The study visit also produced 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀. Agricultural cooperatives agreed to strengthen coordination with farmers, improve product quality, and expand market channels. GI mangoes are expected to be promoted to modern retail outlets, fresh mangoes supplied to processing companies, and additional wholesaler markets identified for smaller-sized and green mangoes. Cooperatives are also exploring online sales opportunities to reach more consumers.

By helping farmers understand market demand and build direct relationships with buyers, the PEARL Project is laying the foundation for a stronger and more resilient mango value chain. These efforts will help farmers earn better incomes, reduce post-harvest losses, and create long-term market opportunities for mango-growing communities in Oddar Meanchey.

Funded by the Green Climate Fund, the PEARL Project is implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of Environment with technical support from FAO, supporting smallholder farmers through climate-smart agriculture and stronger market connections.
