We were taught to have faith in an external God. We were taught that belief is stronger than what u actually know but we have been fooled n mislead. Now I have matured I have learned through trial and error and/or personal and general experiences that faith in an external God is detrimental to ones enlightenment and progress. I am by no means saying there isn't a "God" but whatever God is, is not external or separate from one's self. Have faith in SELF if u want to be faithful. Believe in yourself if u want to believe. No one is coming to save you. Save yourself and wake up from your dream

If holding your head high disrespects them, make sure u disrespect them every day with your confidence... If your pride makes them uncomfortable, irritate them daily with your morality. Eventually, your peace will come
