최근 여성신문과의 인터뷰에서 안네 카리 한센 오빈 주한 노르웨이 대사는 성평등을 위한 노르웨이의 지속적인 노력을 강조했습니다.

노르웨이의 성평등 정책은 오랜 기간 축적된 정치적 의지와 미래지향적인 제도를 바탕으로 발전해 왔습니다. 정치 분야에서의 균형 잡힌 대표성 확보를 비롯해, 2003년 기업 이사회 여성 40% 할당제 도입, 2015년 성중립적 징병제 시행 등이 그 예입니다. 이러한 노력은 노동시장과 교육에서의 평등한 기회 확대, 폭력과 차별 예방을 목표로 하는 2025–2030 성평등 전략을 통해 계속 이어지고 있습니다.

성평등은 해양 산업과 같은 핵심 산업 분야에서도 점점 더 중요한 과제로 부각되고 있습니다. 산업의 디지털화와 함께 보다 폭넓은 참여가 가능해지고 있으며, 노르웨이는 교육, 롤모델, 포용적인 근무 환경이 이러한 변화를 이끄는 핵심 요소라고 보고 있습니다. 이는 한국을 포함한 파트너 국가들과의 협력이 특히 의미 있는 분야이기도 합니다.

그동안의 진전이 분명히 존재하지만, 성평등 실현에는 지속적인 노력이 필요합니다. 성평등은 국내는 물론 국제 협력 차원에서도 노르웨이의 중요한 우선 과제로 남아 있습니다.

In a recent interview with Women News, Ambassador Anne Kari Hansen Ovind highlighted Norway’s ongoing commitment to gender equality.

Norway’s approach has been shaped by long-term political will, including balanced political representation, a 40% quota for women on corporate boards (2003), and gender-neutral conscription (2015). This work continues through the 2025–2030 Gender Equality Strategy, focusing on equal opportunities in the labour market, education, and the prevention of violence and discrimination.

Gender equality is also increasingly important in sectors like the maritime industry. As the sector evolves, Norway sees strong potential to expand participation through education, role models, and inclusive working environments. This an area where cooperation with partners such as South Korea is highly relevant.

While progress is significant, it requires continuous effort. Gender equality remains a priority for Norway, both at home and internationally.

Today we celebrate Norway’s Constitution Day. Here we commemorate the 17th of May 1814, when the Constitution of Norway was signed at Eidsvoll, declaring Norway as an independent nation. This year, we celebrated it a little earlier on the 10th of May in Busan with a parade, Norwegian waffles and games.

From all the Embassy staff to all Norwegians and friends of Norway in South Korea, happy Constitution Day!

이 날은 1814년 5월 17일, 노르웨이를 독립 국가로 선언하고 노르웨이의 헌법이 제정된 것을 기념하는 날입니다. 올 해는 조금 이른 5월 10일 부산에서 퍼레이드와 노르웨이 와플, 다양한 게임을 하면서 미리 축하했습니다.

노르딕 대표단은 한국의 주요 산업 및 연구 기관들과 만나 노르딕 국가와 한국 간의 다양한 협력 가능성을 모색했습니다.

노르딕 대표단은 머니투데이 콘퍼런스, K.E.Y. PLATFORM 2026의 일환으로 개최된 Human–AI Collaboration: The Productive Partnership」 세션에서 인사이트를 공유했습니다.

💡이번 논의를 통해 분명해진 점은:
1. AI는 인간의 판단이 중심에 있을 때 생산성을 가장 효과적으로 향상시킵니다.

2. 책임 있는 AI 도입을 위해서는 신뢰, 역량(기술), 거버넌스가 필수적입니다.

3. 인간의 창의성, 비판적 사고와 책임은 자동화될 수 없으며 앞으로도 핵심적인 요소로 남을 것입니다.

1. AI increases productivity best when human judgment remains central.
2. Trust, skills, and governance are essential for responsible AI adoption.
3. Human creativity, critical thinking, and responsibility cannot be automated and remain essential
