Shade for the Future | අනාගතය සඳහා සෙවන | எதிர்காலத்திற்கான நிழல்

Through Be Human Foundation - Sri Lanka organization, the GREEN PEACE - SRI LANKA project, under the theme "Shadow for the Future", is being implemented by our volunteer team in island wide with the aim of conserving Sri Lanka's natural resources.

This project includes goals 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17, which are the main goals related to the environment, out of the 17 goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

“Without nature, we have nothing. Without nature, we are nothing.”

These are the words of UN Secretary-General António Guterres, delivered at the historic UN COP15 biodiversity summit which was held in Montreal, Canada, in December 2022.

He emphasized the critical need for action to safeguard nature and biodiversity.

As we all are aware that environmental sustainability is essential for preserving the planet's natural resources, protecting ecosystems, mitigating climate change, promoting human health and well-being, and achieving long-term social and economic development.

Environmental sustainability is a core component of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By integrating environmental sustainability into the SDGs, the global community acknowledges the interconnectedness of environmental issues with social and economic development. It emphasizes the need to pursue a balanced and integrated approach to ensure a sustainable future for both current and future generations.

Be Human Foundation - Sri Lanka සංවිධානය හරහා "අනාගතයට සෙවනැල්ල" යන තේමාව යටතේ GREEN PEACE - SRI LANKA ව්‍යාපෘතිය ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ස්වභාවික සම්පත් සංරක්ෂණය කිරීමේ අරමුණින් අපගේ ස්වේච්ඡා කණ්ඩායම විසින් දිවයින පුරා ක්‍රියාත්මක වේ.

මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතියට එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ තිරසාර සංවර්ධන ඉලක්ක 17න් පරිසරය සම්බන්ධ ප්‍රධාන ඉලක්ක වන ඉලක්ක 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 සහ 17 ඇතුළත් වේ.

“සොබාදහම නොමැතිව අපට කිසිවක් නැත. ස්වභාවධර්මයෙන් තොරව අපි කිසිවක් නොවේ.”

2022 දෙසැම්බරයේදී කැනඩාවේ මොන්ට්‍රියල් හි පැවති ඓතිහාසික UN COP15 ජෛව විවිධත්ව සමුළුවේදී එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ මහලේකම් António Guterres විසින් ප්‍රකාශ කරන ලද වචන මේවාය.

ස්වභාවධර්මය සහ ජෛව විවිධත්වය ආරක්ෂා කිරීමට ක්‍රියා කිරීමේ තීරණාත්මක අවශ්‍යතාවය ඔහු අවධාරණය කළේය. පෘථිවියේ ස්වභාවික සම්පත් සංරක්ෂණය කිරීම, පරිසර පද්ධති ආරක්ෂා කිරීම, දේශගුණික විපර්යාස අවම කිරීම, මානව සෞඛ්‍යය සහ යහපැවැත්ම ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීම සහ දිගුකාලීන සමාජ හා ආර්ථික සංවර්ධනයක් ළඟා කර ගැනීම සඳහා පාරිසරික තිරසාරභාවය අත්‍යවශ්‍ය බව අප කවුරුත් දන්නා පරිදි.

පාරිසරික තිරසාරත්වය තිරසාර සංවර්ධන ඉලක්ක (SDGs) හි මූලික අංගයකි. පාරිසරික තිරසාරභාවය SDGs වෙත ඒකාබද්ධ කිරීමෙන්, ගෝලීය ප්‍රජාව පාරිසරික ගැටළු සමාජ හා ආර්ථික සංවර්ධනය සමඟ අන්තර් සම්බන්ධිත බව පිළිගනී.

වර්තමාන සහ අනාගත පරම්පරාවන් සඳහා තිරසාර අනාගතයක් සහතික කිරීම සඳහා සමබර හා ඒකාබද්ධ ප්‍රවේශයක් අනුගමනය කිරීමේ අවශ්‍යතාවය එය අවධාරණය කරයි.

Be Human Foundation - Sri Lanka அமைப்பின் ஊடாக, GREEN PEACE - SRI LANKA செயற்திட்டம், "எதிர்காலத்திற்கான நிழல்" என்ற தொனிப்பொருளின் கீழ், இலங்கையின் இயற்கை வளங்களை பாதுகாக்கும் நோக்கில் எமது தொண்டர் குழுவினால் நாடளாவிய ரீதியிலும் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகின்றது.

இந்தத் திட்டமானது ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் நிலையான அபிவிருத்தி இலக்குகளின் 17 இலக்குகளில் சுற்றுச்சூழலுடன் தொடர்புடைய முக்கிய இலக்குகளான 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 மற்றும் 17 ஆகிய இலக்குகளை உள்ளடக்கியது.

2022 டிசம்பரில் கனடாவின் மொண்ட்ரியாலில் நடைபெற்ற வரலாற்று சிறப்புமிக்க UN COP15 பல்லுயிர் உச்சி மாநாட்டில் ஐ.நா பொதுச்செயலாளர் அன்டோனியோ குட்டரெஸின் வார்த்தைகள் இவை.

இயற்கையையும் பல்லுயிர் பெருக்கத்தையும் பாதுகாப்பதற்கான நடவடிக்கையின் முக்கியமான தேவையை அவர் வலியுறுத்தினார். பூமியின் இயற்கை வளங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கும், சுற்றுச்சூழல் அமைப்புகளைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கும், காலநிலை மாற்றத்தைத் தணிப்பதற்கும், மனித ஆரோக்கியம் மற்றும் நல்வாழ்வை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கும், நீண்ட கால சமூக மற்றும் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியை அடைவதற்கும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் நிலைத்தன்மை அவசியம் என்பதை நாம் அனைவரும் அறிவோம்.

சுற்றுச்சூழல் நிலைத்தன்மை என்பது நிலையான வளர்ச்சி இலக்குகளின் (SDGs) முக்கிய அங்கமாகும். SDG களில் சுற்றுச்சூழல் நிலைத்தன்மையை ஒருங்கிணைப்பதன் மூலம், சமூக மற்றும் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியுடன் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பிரச்சினைகளின் ஒன்றோடொன்று இணைந்திருப்பதை உலகளாவிய சமூகம் ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறது.
