🌿 Happy Biological Diversity Day! 🌿
Today, Cato and Daisy remind us that every plant, animal, insect, and tiny living creature plays a special role in keeping our planet alive and beautiful. 🦋🦌🐢🐦
From deep forests to flowing rivers, nature connects us all. Let’s protect wildlife, conserve water, reduce pollution, and grow a greener future together. 💚🌎
“Small actions create BIG impact.” 🌱
Let’s celebrate the beauty of biodiversity and promise to care for Earth every single day. 🍃

Cato’s Nature Diary – Lesson 2
How a Tiny Seed Becomes a Living Plant???
In nature, some of the most amazing transformations start in the smallest ways. A tiny seed, often no bigger than a grain of sand, holds everything needed to grow into a full, living plant. In this lesson, Daisy and Cato explore how this quiet miracle happens.
A Curious Question,
Daisy looks at a seed in her hand and wonders,
“Cato, how does something so small turn into a plant?”
Cato smiles and begins to explain the secret of nature.
💚 The First Step: Germination
“When conditions are right,” Cato says, “a seed wakes up from its sleep. This process is called germination.”
For a seed to begin growing, it needs three important things:
💧 Water
🌬️ Air
☀️ Warmth from sunlight
Once these are available, the seed starts to change from the inside.
💚 Step by Step Growth
i.First, the seed absorbs water and begins to swell. Its outer shell softens and eventually breaks open.
ii.Next, a tiny root pushes downward into the soil. This root anchors the plant and begins absorbing water and nutrients from the earth.
iii. After that, a shoot grows upward, reaching toward the sunlight above the soil.
iv.Finally, small green leaves appear, and something amazing begins — the plant can now make its own food using sunlight. This is how it continues to grow stronger and taller each day.
💚 Nature’s Hidden Magic
Daisy listens carefully and smiles.
“So every big tree started like this?” she asks.
“Yes,” Cato replies. “Every forest, every flower, every giant tree once began as a tiny seed.”
💚 Try It Yourself
You can observe this process at home with a simple experiment:
Place the mustard seeds on a damp tissue inside a clear jar. Keep it in a warm place and watch it daily. Within days, you will see roots and a tiny shoot begin to appear.
It’s one of the simplest ways to witness nature’s transformation up close. A seed may look small and ordinary, but inside it lives a complete future plant, waiting for the right moment to grow. Accordingly, nature doesn’t rush ; it grows step by step, quietly and beautifully.
Have you ever watched a seed grow? What surprised you the most about the process?

Cato’s Nature Diary: Lesson One 🌿
“Big changes start with tiny seeds.”
That’s what Cato always tells me!
I used to think I was too small to help such a big planet, but then Cato showed me how one single leaf helps the whole forest breathe🍃. Now, I’ve started my own little journey of action, and I want you to join me!
It only takes a moment to show the Earth some love:
🌱 Planting a new life.
💧 Watering with care.
🌻 Watching a flower bloom.
🌳 Giving a giant hug to a silent friend.
Every small act is a “thank you” to nature. Cato says when we care for the earth, the earth cares for us right back 💚.
What small action will you take today? Let’s fill the comments with green hearts! 👇

🌿 Welcome to Cato’s Nature Diary 🌿
In a quiet corner of the earth, where the wind whispers through leaves…
there lives a wise old tree named Cato🌳.
And one day, a kind-hearted girl 🌼 Daisy stopped to listen.
Since then, they’ve been sharing little stories,
about trees that breathe life, rivers that sing,
animals that trust us, and a planet that needs love.
This is not just a page…
It’s a small journey of friendship, nature, and hope.
🌿 If you believe small actions can change the world,
you are already part of our story. 💚
