අපේ ජාතිය අභිමානයෙන් 78 වන නිදහස් සංවත්සරය සමරන මේ මොහොතේ, අපරාධයක වින්දිතයින් සහ සාක්ෂිකරුවන් ආරක්ෂා කිරීමේ ජාතික අධිකාරිය සියලුම ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයින්ට සිය හෘදයාංගම සුබ පැතුම් පිරිනමයි.

නිදහස යනු ජාතියක නිදහස පමණක් නොව, සෑම පුරවැසියෙකුටම ගෞරවයෙන්, ආරක්ෂාවෙන් සහ යුක්තියෙන් ජීවත් විය හැකි බවට සහතික වීමයි. මෙම අර්ථවත් දිනයේදී, අපරාධයක වින්දිතයින්ගේ සහ සාක්ෂිකරුවන්ගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් සහ සුභසාධනය ආරක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා අපගේ නොසැලෙන කැපවීම අපි නැවත තහවුරු කරමු, ඔවුන්ගේ හඬට සවන් දෙන බවත්, යුක්තිය පසිඳලීමේ පද්ධතිය කෙරෙහි ඔවුන්ගේ විශ්වාසය තහවුරු කරන බවත් සහතික කරමු.

2026 අලුත් අවුරුද්දට පා තබන මේ මොහොතේ, අපරාධවලට ගොදුරු වූවන් සහ සාක්ෂිකරුවන් ආරක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා වූ ජාතික අධිකාරිය, සාමය, යුක්තිය සහ අලුත් වූ බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් පිරුණු නව වසරක් සඳහා සියලු පුරවැසියන්ට උණුසුම් ලෙස සුබ පැතුම් එක් කරමු.

අපරාධවලට ගොදුරු වූවන්ගේ සහ සාක්ෂිකරුවන්ගේ අයිතිවාසිකම්, ගෞරවය සහ ආරක්ෂාව ආරක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා අපි එක්ව සිටින විට, අනුකම්පාව, අවබෝධය සහ එකමුතුකමේ වැදගත්කම මෙම අලුත් අවුරුද්ද අපට මතක් කර දෙයි. අප ආරක්ෂා කරන අධිකරණ පද්ධතිය කෙරෙහි විශ්වාසය ශක්තිමත් කරන අතරම, සැලකිල්ලෙන්, අවංකභාවයෙන් සහ වගකීමෙන් යුතුව සේවය කිරීමට අපි දැඩි ලෙස කැපවී සිටිමු.

New appointments to the management board of the National Authority for the Protection of Victims of Crime and Witnesses were made on 10th November 2025, under the patronage of Minister of Justice and National Integration Harsha Nanayakkara at the parliamentary premises.

Retired Court of Appeal Judge W.A. Kaluarachchi was appointed as the new chairman of the board.
