The Uplands area in the Doluwa Divisional Secretariat, Galoya GN Division.
A devastating flash landslide has taken nearly 24 precious lives.
Ten houses were completely destroyed.
Out of the 24 victims, twelve had rushed out to save others, a heartbreaking reminder of the courage and humanity within our people.
Nineteen bodies have been recovered, and the rest are still missing and presumed dead.
Distributed health and sanitary kits 100nos including pillows, mats, soap, etc to the affected family.

3 දන දිනටත් YFDJ සංවිධානයෙන් ගැටහැත්ත ප්රදේශයේ අවතැන්ව සිටින පිරිස් වෙත රාත්රී ආහාර වේල ලබා දීමට දෙසැම්බර් 1 වන දින කටයුතු කරනු ලැබුවා .
සංවිධානයේ උපදේශකවරයකු වන සුසන්ත සෙනවිරත්න මහතාගේ සහ චන්ද්රා මාරඹේ මහත්මියගේ මූලිකත්වයෙන් මෙම කටයුත්ත සිදු කරන ලදී.

For the second day in a row, our local representatives provided freshly prepared meals to over 500 residents in, Welivita, Getahetta, Ilukpitiya, and Ambemulla of Ehaliyagoda DS Division.
