The Department of National Museums informs the public that all museums under its administration will remain closed on Wednesdays declared as special government holidays, in addition to their regularly scheduled closure days.

කොළඹ ජාතික කෞතුකාගාරයේ සංක්‍රාන්තික යුග ප්‍රදර්ශන මැදිරියේ ප්‍රදර්ශිත ත්‍රිභාෂා සෙල්ලිපිය යුනෙස්කෝ ආයතනය විසින් ලෝක මතක උරුමයක් ලෙස වර්ෂ 2025 අප්‍රේල් මස 17 වැනි දින ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කිරීම නිමිත්තෙන් ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරනු ලබන සමරු ඵලකය බුද්ධශාසන,ආගමික හා සංස්කෘතික කටයුතු අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ගරු අමාත්‍ය, මහාචාර්ය. හිනිදුම සුනිල් සෙනෙවි මැතිතුමාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් 2026. මාර්තු මස 10දින විවෘත වූ වගයි.

The Trilingual Inscription – A UNESCO Memory of the World Heritage

The Trilingual Inscription, which has been inscribed in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register – 2025, is exhibited at the Transitional Period Gallery of the Colombo National Museum.

To commemorate this recognition, a memorial plaque was ceremonially unveiled on March 10, 2026, under the patronage of Hon. Minister of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Professor Hiniduma Sunil Senevi.
