Marking 21 years of impact, John Keells Foundation commemorates this milestone with the launch of its redesigned website and upcoming Volunteer App, further enhancing engagement with communities and partners through digital innovation. This new platform reflects JKF's continued commitment to creating meaningful social impact, while strengthening connections, improving accessibility and enabling greater participation across its initiatives.

Launched in 2007 by John Keells Foundation in partnership with FARO, the Rural BPO Initiative was founded on the belief that where you live should never limit your potential. By establishing Sri Lanka’s first village-based BPOs in Mahavilachchiya, Seenigama, and Jaffna, it has opened doors for rural youth, including countless young women, to build careers in finance and accounting from their own communities. With training in leadership and communication, these professionals have turned geographic barriers into stepping stones, contributing meaningfully to InfoMate, a John Keells company.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women breaking barriers, proving that talent knows no boundaries.

2007 දී ජෝන් කීල්ස් පදනම විසින් FARO සමඟ හවුල්කාරිත්වයෙන් ග්‍රාමීය BPO මුලපිරීම ආරම්භ කරන ලදී. එහි නිර්මාණය කරනු ලැබුවේ, ඔබ ජීවත් වන වටපිටාව අනුව කිසි විටෙකත් ඔබේ හැකියාව සීමා නොකළ යුතුය යන විශ්වාසය මත ය. ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පළමු ග්‍රාමීය BPO ආයතන මහවිලච්චිය, සීනිගම සහ යාපනය යන ප්‍රදේශවල ස්ථාපිත කිරීමෙන්, තරුණ කාන්තාවන් ඇතුළු බොහෝමයක් ග්‍රාමීය තරුණ
තරුණියන්ට, ඔවුන්ගේම ප්‍රජාවන්ගෙන් මූල්‍ය හා ගිණුම්කරණ වෘත්තීන් ගොඩනගා ගැනීමට දොරටු විවර කර දී තිබේ. නායකත්වය සහ සන්නිවේදනය පිළිබඳ පුහුණුව සමඟින්, මෙම වෘත්තිකයන් ඔවුන්ගේ වටපිටාවෙන් එහා ලෝකයටත් නව පියවරක් ඉදිරියට තබමින්,ජෝන් කීල්ස් සමාගමක් වන InfoMate සඳහා අර්ථවත් ලෙස දායක වී ඇත.

2007 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜோன் கீல்ஸ் அறக்கட்டளையால் FARO உடன் இணைந்து தொடங்கப்பட்ட கிராமப்புற BPO முன்முயற்சி, நீங்கள் வசிக்கும் இடத்தில் உங்கள் திறனை ஒருபோதும் கட்டுப்படுத்தக்கூடாது என்ற நம்பிக்கையின் அடிப்படையில் நிறுவப்பட்டது. மகாவிளாச்சியா, சீனிகம மற்றும் யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் இலங்கையின் முதல் கிராம அடிப்படையிலான BPO-க்களை நிறுவுவதன் மூலம், எண்ணற்ற இளம் பெண்கள் உட்பட கிராமப்புற இளைஞர்கள் தங்கள் சொந்த சமூகங்களிலிருந்து நிதி மற்றும் கணக்கியலில் தொழில் வாழ்க்கையை உருவாக்க கதவுகளைத் திறந்துள்ளது. தலைமைத்துவம் மற்றும் தகவல் தொடர்பு பயிற்சியுடன், இந்த வல்லுநர்கள் புவியியல் தடைகளை படிக்கற்களாக மாற்றி, ஜோன் கீல்ஸ் நிறுவனமான InfoMate-க்கு அர்த்தமுள்ள பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியுள்ளனர்.

In September 2023, John Keells Foundation and Keells Food Products PLC, in partnership with the Ja-Ela Divisional Secretariat, launched the Ja-Ela Mushroom Cultivation Project. The initiative empowers mainly women by providing mushroom pods, cultivation equipment, materials to build cultivation houses, agricultural insurance, and ongoing training. By nurturing entrepreneurship and sustainable income generation, this project is helping women take charge of their economic future.

2023 සැප්තැම්බර් මාසයේදී, ජෝන් කීල්ස් පදනම සහ , Keells Food Products PLC, ජාඇල ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලය සමඟ එක්ව, ජා ඇල ප්‍රදේශයේ බිම්මල් වගා ව්‍යාපෘතිය දියත් කරන ලදී.
මෙම මුලපිරීම ප්‍රධාන වශයෙන් කාන්තාවන් සවිබල ගන්වනු ලබන්නේ, බිම්මල් බීජ, වගා උපකරණ, වගා නිවාස ඉදිකිරීම සඳහා අවශ්‍යය ද්‍රව්‍ය, කෘෂිකාර්මික රක්ෂණය සහ අඛණ්ඩ පුහුණුව ඔවුන්ට ලබා දීමෙනි. ව්‍යවසායකත්වය සහ තිරසාර ආදායම් උත්පාදනය පෝෂණය කිරීමෙන්, මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය කාන්තාවන්ට ඔවුන්ගේ ආර්ථික අනාගතය භාර ගැනීමට උපකාරී වනු ඇත.
මෙම ජාත්‍යන්තර කාන්තා දිනයේදී, ඔවුන්ගේ ප්‍රජාවන් තුළ වෙනසක් ඇති කරන කාන්තාවන්ගේ ශක්තිය, නවෝත්පාදනය සහ අධිෂ්ඨානය. අපි සමරමු.

Since 1994, Sri Lanka’s iconic open-air art fair, conceptualised by the George Keyt Foundation and presented by John Keells Foundation, has grown into a nationwide art celebration, giving both emerging and established artists a space to showcase their talent. Building on this vision, in 2014 John Keells Foundation launched the Sri Lankan Art Gallery, the country’s first free, corporate-backed virtual gallery, offering artists including many talented women, round-the-clock visibility to audiences at home and abroad.

1994 සිට, ජෝර්ජ් කීට් පදනම විසින් නිර්මාණය කරන ලද සංකල්පයකක් අනුව, ජෝන් කීල්ස් පදනම විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලද ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සුවිශේෂී එළිමහන්
කලා ප්‍රදර්ශනයක් ලෙස මෙය රටපුරා කලා උත්සවයක් දක්වා වර්ධනය වී ඇත.
එය නවක සහ ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨයේ සිටින කලාකරුවන්ට ඔවුන්ගේ දක්ෂතා ප්‍රදර්ශනය කිරීමට අවකාශයක් ලබා දී ඇත. මෙම දැක්ම මත පදනම්ව,2014 දී ජෝන් කීල්ස් පදනම ශ්‍රී ලංකා කලාභවන දියත් කළ අතර එය රටේ පළමු නොමිලේ, ආයතනික පිටුබලය ලත් ඔන්ලයින් ආර්ට් ගැලරිය වන අතර, බොහෝ දක්ෂ කාන්තාවන් ඇතුළු කලාකරුවන්ට, දේශීය හා විදේශීය ප්‍රේක්ෂකයින්ට පැය 24 පුරාම නැරඹීමේ අවස්ථාව ලබා දෙයි.

මෙම ජාත්‍යන්තර කාන්තා දිනයේදී, කලාව තුළ කාන්තාවන්ගේ ඇති නිර්මාණශීලිත්වයට, අභිලාෂයට සහ දැක්මට අපි ගෞරව කරමු.

1994 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல், ஜோர்ஜ் கீட் அறக்கட்டளையால் கருத்தாக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டு, ஜோன் கீல்ஸ் அறக்கட்டளையால் வழங்கப்பட்ட இலங்கையின் சின்னமான திறந்தவெளி கலைக் கண்காட்சி, நாடு தழுவிய கலைக் கொண்டாட்டமாக வளர்ந்துள்ளது, இது வளர்ந்து வரும் மற்றும் நிறுவப்பட்ட கலைஞர்கள் இருவருக்கும் தங்கள் திறமையை வெளிப்படுத்த ஒரு இடத்தை வழங்குகிறது. இந்த தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையின் அடிப்படையில், 2014 ஆம் ஆண்டில் ஜோன் கீல்ஸ் அறக்கட்டளை இலங்கை கலைக்கூடத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது, இது நாட்டின் முதல் இலவச, நிறுவன ஆதரவு மெய்நிகர் காட்சிக்கூடமாகும், இது பல திறமையான பெண்கள் உட்பட கலைஞர்களை உள்நாட்டிலும் வெளிநாட்டிலும் பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு 24 மணி நேரமும் காணக்கூடியதாக வழங்குகிறது.

Launched in 2019, John Keells Higher Education Scholarship Programme supports youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, especially students from communities connected to the Group’s supply chain. By funding Advanced Level and university education, we empower recipients, including young women striving to break cycles of inequality, to reach their potential and positively impact their families and communities.

ජෝන් කීල්ස් උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ශිෂ්‍යත්ව වැඩසටහන 2019දී දියත් කරන ලදී. එහිදී, අඩු පහසුකම් සහිත පවුල්වල තරුණ තරුණියන්ට, විශේෂයෙන් අප සමූහය සමඟ සම්බන්ධ වී සිටින ප්‍රජාවන්හි සිසුන්ට සහාය වීම සිදුවේ. උසස් පෙළ සහ විශ්ව විද්‍යාල අධ්‍යාපනයට අරමුදල් සැපයීමෙන්, අසමානතාවය බිඳ දැමීමට උත්සාහ කරන තරුණියන්ට, ඔවුන්ගේ හැකියාවන් කරා ළඟා වීමට සහ ඔවුන්ගේ පවුල් වලට සහ ප්‍රජාවන්ට ධනාත්මක බලපෑමක් ඇති කිරීමට අපි ඔවුන් බලගන්වන්නෙමු.
මෙම ජාත්‍යන්තර කාන්තා දිනයේදී, අධ්‍යාපනය තුළින් තම අනාගතය හැඩගස්වාගන්න කාන්තාවන් අපි සමරන්නෙමු.

2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு தொடங்கப்பட்ட ஜோன் கீல்ஸ் உயர்கல்வி உதவித்தொகை திட்டம், பின்தங்கிய பின்னணியைச் சேர்ந்த இளைஞர்களை, குறிப்பாக குழுவின் விநியோகச் சங்கிலியுடன் இணைக்கப்பட்ட சமூகங்களைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்களை ஆதரிக்கிறது. உயர்தரம் மற்றும் பல்கலைக்கழகக் கல்விக்கு நிதியளிப்பதன் மூலம், சமத்துவமின்மையின் சுழற்சியை உடைக்க பாடுபடும் இளம் பெண்கள் உட்பட, பெறுநர்கள் தங்கள் திறனை அடையவும், அவர்களின் குடும்பங்கள் மற்றும் சமூகங்களில் நேர்மறையான தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தவும் நாங்கள் அதிகாரம் அளிக்கிறோம்.

We are honoured to announce that artist Sandaru Seneviratne was awarded the Deshamanya Ken Balendra Memorial Award for Best Emerging Artist at Kala Pola held on 8th February. The award was presented by Krishan Balendra, Chairperson of the John Keells Group.
