Office for Overseas Sri Lankan Affairs hosted a successful meeting with the participation of Provincial Director of Health Services - Provincial Director of Health Services, Western Province, Deputy Director of Health Services – Kalutara, Director Of Health Service Office - Kalutara, Divisional Secretary - Divisional Secretariat Office - Palindanuwara, Baduraliya , MOH Palindanuwara - Medical Officer Of Health Office Palindanuwara-Baduraliya and Rev.Sigiriye Sumiththa Thero Sri Lankan Buddhist Cultural Centre - Hong Kong to discuss about upgrading the existing Maternal and Child Health Clinic to a Primary Medical Care Unit at Hadigalla Janapadaya (Palindanuwara Divisional Secretariat Area, Kalutara District).

It will be a model project based on participatory development and community ownership, ensuring equal access to universal health care for all.

Office for Overseas Sri Lankan Affairs today had a curtsey meeting with the visiting Her Excellency Dr. Siri Walt Ambassador of Switzerland to Sri Lanka and the Maldives accompanied by , First Secretary (Migration). We had a good discussion on the work of OOSLA and to enhance engagement. with OSLs in Switzerland. The Ambassador extended support to OOSLA in furthering this objective.
