Together with Institut Francais de Pondichéry (Dr Mathieu Ferry), University of Peradeniya (Dr Priyadarshani Hapuarachchige) and ICES (Mario Gomez) we are bringing together researchers from 10 Sri Lankan universities and Department of Census and Statistics on a ambitious social research and training project.

The Lakmahal Community Library hosted the first French artistic residency in Sri Lanka earlier this year, as part of the Villa Swagatam network in South Asia, featuring artist Selim-a Atallah Chetaoui.

A warm moment of exchange with the Board of the Lakmahal was the occasion to commend their commitment, hospitality and support, which were instrumental in the success of this residency 🇫🇷🇱🇰
