The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) successfully conducted a One-Day Awareness Session on OSH-Related Research Methodology on 25th January 2026 at the NIOSH Auditorium, with the support of the Department of Facilities Management, University of Moratuwa.

This capacity building programme focused on enhancing knowledge and awareness on research methodology in the field of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), with emphasis on evidence-based decision-making, workplace research, and the practical application of research findings to improve OSH practices.

NIOSH remains committed to strengthening professional capacity and promoting a strong research culture to support safer and healthier workplaces.
