​📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Selection Trials Rescheduled
​Due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions across the country, Sri Lanka Athletics has decided to postpone the selection trials originally scheduled for May 13th, 2026.

​🗓️ New Schedule
​The trials will now commence on May 14th,15th & 16th 2026, and will continue as per the revised timeline.

This is to inform you that the selection trials schedulled to be held on 13 th May 2026 will be postphoned to 14th May 2026 onwards due to bad weather condition prevailing in the country.
Therefore, all the athletes those who applied for the selection trials act accordingly.

ඔබ සියලුදෙනා බ්ලේසරයකින් හා මලල ක්‍රීඩා සංගමයේ නිල ටයි පටියෙන් සැරසී හෙට දින , එනම් මැයි මස 14 වන දින පස්වරු 1.30 ට බොරැල්ල ජයරත්න VIP Respect Home වෙත පැමිණෙන මෙන් කාරුණිකව ඉල්ලා සිටින්නෙමු.

​⚠️ විශේෂ සටහන: සියලුම තේරීම් කටයුතු දැනට ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කර ඇති නිල පරිසාදන මට්ටම් (Qualifying Standards) මත පදනම්ව සිදු කරනු ලැබේ.

2026 ජාතික කනිෂ්ඨ මලල ක්‍රීඩා ශූරතාවලිය 2026 ජුනි 15 සිට 18 දක්වා දියගම මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ක්‍රීඩාංගනයේ දී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතය. මේ සඳහා අයදුම්පත් 2026 අප්‍රේල් 20 වන දින සිට ශ්‍රී ලංකා මලල ක්‍රීඩා ආයතනය විසින් නිකුත් කරනු ලබන අතර අයදුම්පත් භාර ගැනීමේ අවසාන දිනය 2026 මැයි 15 දින වේ.

📢 Selection Trials – Asian U20 Athletics Championships 2026

Sri Lanka Athletics is pleased to announce that the Selection Trials for the Asian U20 Athletics Championships will be conducted on:

🗓 1st & 2nd April 2026
📍 Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium

Athletes born in the years 2007,2008,2009 & 2010 are Eligible to participate in these trials, which will serve as the official selection process for representing Sri Lanka at the upcoming championship.

Please find the official entry form attached herewith. All athletes are kindly requested to submit their entries on or before 26th March 2026.

The approved qualifying standards for the Asian U20 Athletics Championships are also attached for your reference.

2026 ජාතික කනිෂ්ඨ මලල ක්‍රීඩා ශූරතාවලිය 2026 අප්‍රේල් 02 සිට 05 දක්වා දියගම මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ක්‍රීඩාංගනයේ දී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතය. මේ සඳහා අයදුම්පත් 2026 මාර්තු 05 වන දින සිට ශ්‍රී ලංකා මලල ක්‍රීඩා ආයතනය විසින් නිකුත් කරනු ලබන අතර අයදුම්පත් භාර ගැනීමේ අවසාන දිනය 2026 මාර්තු 20 දින වේ.

මෙම වසරේ මැයි මස හොංකොං හි පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත ආසියානු කණිෂ්ඨ ශූරතාවය සහ ජූලි මස චීනයේ පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත ආසියානු වයස 23 න් පහළ ශූරතාවය සඳහා අවසාන තේරීම් තරඟය වශයෙන් මෙය ක්‍රියාත්මක වන බව කාරුණිකව සලකන්න.

The National Junior Athletics Championship is scheduled to be held on the 02nd to 05th of April 2026 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium, Diyagama. Applications for this will be issued from 05th March 2026 by Sri Lanka Athletics and the last date for accepting applications is 20th March 2026.

Please note that this will be the final qualification trial for the Asian Junior Championships to be held in May at Hong Kong and the Asian Under-23 Championships to be held in July at China.
