📢 Dear Members,

As you know, SVSA has started a platform to support our members affected by the recent floods and landslides. Many members have already contributed generously, and we are also arranging a donation to the Faculty.

To ensure transparency and proper distribution of relief, we need to collect information about the members who were severely affected.

The State Veterinary Surgeons’ Association (SVSA) met the Hon. Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Lal Kantha, today at the Ministry of Agriculture, Colombo. The discussions focused on establishing a new Service Minute for veterinary surgeons and enhancing veterinary services across the country.

2025.05.31 දින විට ශ්‍රී ලංකා සත්ත්ව නිෂ්පාදන හා සෞඛ්‍ය සේවයේ පශු වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ගේ අනුමත සංඛ්‍යාව වන 981 න් 2025.05.31 දින වන විට 284 ක සංඛ්‍යාවක් පුරප්පාඩු වී ඇත. ඒ අනුව වර්තමානය වන විට රටේ සමස්ත පශු වෛද්‍ය අවශ්‍යතාවෙන් 29% පුරප්පාඩු වී ඇත. මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් කරුණු සොයා බලා අදාළ ගැටලුවට හේතු සහ එම ගැටලු සඳහා විසඳුම් සහිත වාර්තාවක් ලබා දෙන ලෙස ගරු ජනාධිපති තුමා විසින් සත්ත්ව නිෂ්පාදන හා සෞඛ්‍ය අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල් තුමියට උපදෙස් ලබා දී ඇත. ඒ අනුව 2025.07.02 දින සත්ත්ව නිෂ්පාදන හා සෞඛ්‍ය දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ අඛණ්ඩ අධ්‍යයන ආයතනයේ දී වැඩමුළුවක් සංවිධානය කර තිබූ අතර ඒ සඳහා
• සත්ත්ව නිෂ්පාදන හා සෞඛ්‍ය දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව නියෝජනය කරමින් අතිරේක අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල් (රා.ආ.) වෛද්‍ය විජිත බණ්ඩාර මහතාගේ මූලිකත්වයෙන්, අතිරේක අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල් (පාලන), අධ්‍යක්ෂ (සැලසුම්), අධ්‍යක්ෂ (පාලන), ප්‍රධාන ගණකාධිකාරී, ඇතුළු ඉහල නිලධාරීන් රාශියක්
• ශ්‍රී ලංකා පශු වෛද්‍ය සභාව නියෝජනය කරමින් එහි නියෝජිතයන්
• පශු වෛද්‍ය පීඨය නියෝජනය කරමින් එහි නියෝජිතයන්
• පළාත් සත්ත්ව නිෂ්පාදන හා සෞඛ්‍ය දෙපාර්තමේන්තු නියෝජනය කරමින් අතිරේක පළාත් අධ්‍යක්ෂවරුන්
• ශ්‍රී ලංකා පශු වෛද්‍ය සංගමයේ නියෝජිතයින්
• SCAPSL නියෝජිතයන්
• විශ්‍රාමික පශු වෛද්‍යවරුන්
ඇතුළු ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ප්‍රවීණයන් රාශියක් සහභාගී විය.
පවතින ගැටලුව සම්බන්ධයෙන් රජයේ පශු වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමයේ මතය වන, නව සේවා ව්‍යවස්ථාව, පශු වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන් සඳහා විශේෂිත දීමනාවක් ලබා දීම, පශු වෛද්‍ය කාර්යාල සඳහා පහසුකම් පුළුල් කිරීම යන යෝජනාවලට සමාන යෝජනා පැමිණ සිටි පිරිසෙන් ද යොමු වූ අතර, ඉදිරිපත් වූ යෝජනා පදනම් ව අවසන් වාර්තාව සකස් කිරීමට යෝජනා විය.

2025.06.09 දින පැවති සංකේත වැඩවර්ජනය සාර්ථක කර ගැනීම සඳහා සහයෝගය දැක්වූ ඔබ සියලුදෙනාට හදපිරි ස්තූතිය පළකර සිටිමු.
ඉදිරියේදීද අපගේ වෘත්තීය අභිවෘද්ධිය උදෙසා ඔබ සියලුදෙනාගේ සහයෝගය බලාපොරොත්තු වෙමු.
