SHARE & CARE 2026 – Ramadan Dry Ration Distribution

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, the Share & Care 2026 project was successfully completed with five rounds of distribution during Ramadan.

Over 1,000 needy families across areas including Fort, Kaluwelle, Ginthota, Thalapitiya, Navinna, Katugoda, Poruwa, and Weligama benefited from this initiative. With the generous support of our donors, each dry ration pack was enhanced to a value of approximately Rs. 8,000, ensuring meaningful assistance.

We were also honored to extend support to Muazzins and Moulavis serving mosques across the Galle District.

For over 20 years, Share & Care has continued to grow, reaching deserving communities during the blessed month of Ramadan.

We sincerely thank all our donors for their trust and generosity. May Allah bless you abundantly and reward you immensely.

🌙 IFTHAR 2026 A Celebration of Unity & Harmony

The Galle Muslim Cultural Association Inc. (GMCA) proudly hosted Ifthar 2026 on 15th March at the GMCA premises, bringing together the vibrant Galle Fort community in a spirit of unity and togetherness.

This special evening was graced by representatives from all ethnic and religious groups—Muslim, Sinhala, Tamil, and Christian—reflecting the beautiful diversity of our community. Among the distinguished guests was the Chief Monk of Galle Fort Sudharmalaya Temple, whose presence emphasized the shared values of peace, respect, and coexistence.

As we broke our fast together, the event served as a heartwarming reminder of the power of communal harmony and mutual understanding.

🏓 Re-Launch of GMCA Table Tennis Court – 15th February 2026 🎉

We are proud to announce the re-launch of the GMCA Table Tennis Court with the enthusiastic participation of the Galle Fort youth and the esteemed representatives of the GMCA Committee.

This special occasion was further honored by the presence of Mr. Nusair Samsadeen, Former President of the Galle Muslim Cultural Association — a talented table tennis player produced by GMCA and now serving as an International Table Tennis Referee. His journey truly reflects the spirit and legacy of GMCA in nurturing young talent to reach international heights.

The re-launch marks a renewed commitment to empowering our youth through sports, discipline, and community engagement. Let this be the beginning of many more victories, both on and off the table! 🏓✨

63rd Anniversary Meelad UN Nabi celebrations Organized by Galle Muslim Cultural Association Occasion was Graced by Hon.
