The newly appointed City Mayor of Saclepea City in Nimba County, Honorable Joseph Wongan, has relinquished his post as Mayor. According to Mr. Wongan, who also serves as the Chairman of MDR, supporters of the Unity Party have not been treated fairly in the recent appointment process. It is worth noting that both MDR and the Unity Party worked closely together during the just ended election, and Mr. Wongan believes that people should not be appointed in Nimba County local government based solely on their relationship with Senator Prince Y. Johnson.
