Leo Lekpele Nupolu Johnson writes βοΈ "Sharing the big stage with Nobel Laureate Leymah Gbowee, listening as she dropped timeless nuggets of wisdom, courage, and truth.
Imagine this: two Liberians β both of whom were supposed to be casualties of the barbarism of wicked leaders, corrupt politicians, and influential figures who have brought poverty, war, r**e, sexual exploitation, corruption, murder, and hunger upon millions of families in Liberia β now sitting on a global stage in Canada, demonstrating to the world that the spirit of the Liberian people will always rise above evil.
And we do it not through bitterness or revenge β but through resilience, determination, bravery, innovation, and hard work.
Who would have thought that little Liberia, despite its painful scars, would still be leading and inspiring conversations on global stages, reminding the world that hope, healing, and strength can emerge from ashes?
Thank you, Aunty Leymah, for your light, your leadership, and for always using your platform to elevate and inspire. It was truly special sharing the stage with you.
The story of Liberia is still being written β and we are not done yet."
