Liberian Youths SDGs Champions Awards 4th Edition (2025/2026)

The Changers Liberia proudly announces the successful hosting of the 4th Edition of the Liberian Youths SDGs Champions Awards, held on Saturday, February 8, 2026 at the SWEEP Liberia Academy, in Paynesville City, Police Academy.

We extend sincere appreciation to our partners, supporters, volunteers, and the ever-growing community of young leaders who continue to believe in our vision of empowering youth-driven impact across Liberia.

The Liberian Youths SDGs Champions Awards was established to identify, celebrate, and encourage young Liberians whose initiatives and innovations contribute meaningfully to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within their communities. Over the years, the platform has served as a symbol of credibility, inspiration, and national youth recognition.

This year’s edition came with unique circumstances. Following a thorough vetting and compliance review process, several shortlisted nominees were unable to fulfill final participation and documentation requirements within the stipulated timeline. In keeping with our unwavering commitment to integrity, transparency, and excellence, the Awards Committee proceeded with honoring only candidates who fully met all established criteria.

We are therefore proud to recognize two exceptional Young Change makers Miss Christiana Bimbam and Mr. Lawrence W. Morris, whose work demonstrated measurable impact, leadership, and dedication to sustainable development. Their recognition reflects our guiding principle that excellence is never compromised, and merit remains the foundation of this award.

The value of the Liberian Youths SDGs Champions Awards lies not in the number of recipients, but in the credibility, prestige, and integrity of the recognition itself. Maintaining strict evaluation standards ensures that each award continues to represent true achievement and serves as motivation for future participants nationwide.

As we look ahead, The Changers Liberia remains committed to strengthening partnerships, broadening youth participation, and creating even greater platforms that spotlight innovation, responsibility, and national development. Monrovia, Liberia — December 9, 2025

Subject: Liberian Youth SDGs Champions Awards Ceremony Rescheduled to January 23, 2026.

The Organizing Committee of the Liberian Youth SDGs Champions Awards hereby announces to the media and the general public that the official Awards Ceremony, previously scheduled for December 12, 2025, has been postponed and is now expected to take place on January 23, 2026.

The decision comes as part of ongoing preparations intended to enhance the quality of the ceremony and ensure that the event reflects the national importance and youth development impact of this initiative.

The Liberian Youth SDGs Champions Awards is a national recognition platform established to honor young Liberians whose work, innovation, and impact significantly contribute to the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Liberia. Since its inception, the initiative has spotlighted outstanding achievements and empowerment efforts that continue to inspire youth participation in national development. The adjustment in date will provide “additional time to finalize logistical arrangements and deliver a ceremony befitting the caliber of the awardees and partners involved.

The Changers Liberia and partners extend sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused and appreciate the understanding and continuous support of all participants, stakeholders, partners, media institutions, and members of the public.
