Eye Witness Shares Emotional Account of Former CDC Chairman George Solo’s Tragic Death on Flight AT200

A deeply emotional and heartbreaking eyewitness account has emerged following the tragic passing of former CDC Chairman George Solo, who died mid-air aboard Flight AT200 from Casablanca, Morocco to New York on April 24, 2026.

According to the witness, the incident began at the Casablanca airport during transit, where George Solo was first noticed in a visibly distressed condition. He was reportedly struggling to breathe, sweating heavily, and showing signs of severe discomfort. Despite his condition, he repeatedly assured those around him that he was “okay.”

Moved by concern, the eyewitness attempted to assist and even called for help. Eventually, with the support of airport staff and a wheelchair attendant, George Solo was able to board the flight. At that moment, no one could have imagined the tragic turn the journey would take.

Once onboard, he was seated while the eyewitness remained close by. During the early part of the 7-hour flight, George Solo continued to show signs of weakness—frequently requesting water, moving in and out of his seat, and struggling to stay comfortable. At one point, he was even assisted with simple tasks like loosening his clothing due to his lack of strength.

As the flight progressed, his condition worsened significantly. He became increasingly restless, disoriented, and began speaking incoherently. Sensing the seriousness of the situation, the flight crew quickly made an announcement requesting medical assistance.

Two doctors onboard immediately responded and began attending to him. After assessing his condition, they suspected severe diabetes-related complications. Efforts were made to stabilize him, including attempts to regulate his blood sugar levels. However, despite all efforts, his condition deteriorated rapidly.

Moments later, George Solo became unresponsive.

The doctors and crew members initiated CPR and worked tirelessly for nearly an hour in an attempt to revive him. Passengers watched in shock and silence as the life of a man fighting for survival slowly slipped away.

Sadly, he was pronounced dead onboard.

The atmosphere on the plane quickly turned somber and heavy with grief. His body was respectfully moved to the rear of the aircraft as the flight continued its journey to New York. Many passengers, including those who had interacted with him, were left deeply shaken by the experience.

In his final moments before losing consciousness, George Solo reportedly shared that he was traveling to Minneapolis in search of better medical care—a journey filled with hope that tragically never reached its destination.

The eyewitness, who stood by him throughout much of the journey, described the experience as painful and unforgettable, expressing both sorrow and gratitude for being able to offer help, even in a small way, during the final hours of his life.

This tragic incident serves as a powerful reminder to everyone: never ignore your health. Seek medical attention immediately when something feels wrong. Life is too precious to take lightly.
