Rep. Anthony F. Williams Brings Major Relief to Gbolorbo Kweloken Through Road Rehabilitation Project
Residents of Gbolorbo Kweloken Town in Pleebo Sodoken District are celebrating a new chapter of hope and development following the completion of the first phase of a major road rehabilitation project initiated by Representative Anthony F. Williams.
The road project, which connects Gbolorbo Kweloken to surrounding communities, is already bringing significant relief to local residents, especially farmers and business people who have struggled for years with poor road conditions. The rehabilitation work is expected to continue to neighboring towns including Gbolorbo Sedieken and Tunbaken.
Speaking on the initiative, Rep. Williams reaffirmed his commitment to addressing the basic needs of the people throughout his time in the Legislature. He emphasized that improving road connectivity remains a key priority in enhancing economic activities and improving the lives of residents in rural communities.
The newly rehabilitated roads are expected to greatly assist local women and farmers in transporting agricultural products such as pepper, cassava, plantain, bitter ball, fufu, and cane juice to markets in the city. The improved access will also encourage local business people to reach these villages more easily, increasing food supply and trade opportunities within the region.
In appreciation of the lawmaker’s efforts and dedication to community development, the people of Gbolorbo Kweloken presented a live goat to Rep. Williams’ Constituency Coordinator as a symbol of gratitude and appreciation.
Residents described the project as a “new dawn” for the district and expressed optimism that continued development efforts will bring lasting progress to the area.

BREAKING NEWS
As Hon. Anthony F. Williams continues to demonstrate transformational leadership in Pleebo Sodoken District, the Townships of Jlateken, Sedreken, and Kwedoken are set to benefit for the first time since the 90s, from the rehabilitation of their feeder roads through earth pavement works.
The project is expected to commence this week, with heavy equipment already being moved to the site. This marks another major step in the lawmaker’s commitment to improving road connectivity and easing transportation challenges for residents in surrounding towns and villages.
It can be recalled that Hon. Williams recently led the successful rehabilitation of almost all major roads within Pleebo City, an achievement widely praised by citizens across the district.
The Pleebo's lawmaker is now extending development beyond the city center, ensuring rural communities also benefit from quality infrastructure and improved access to markets, schools, and healthcare.
For many residents, this is more than road work—it is proof that leadership can be visible, practical, and people-centered.
Rep. Williams is not just making promises; he is making progress. 💪
