Today, as we join the rest of the world in commemorating World Rabies Day, the Animal Resources Division of the Ministry of Agriculture reaffirms its commitment to protecting the health of our people, our animals, and our communities from the threat of rabies.
Rabies is a deadly but 100% preventable disease. Through timely vaccination of dogs and cats, responsible pet ownership, public awareness, and immediate treatment after exposure, we can save lives and prevent suffering.
Happy World Rabies Day!
