🎄 Season’s Greetings from the Translation Centre 🎄
As the year comes to a close, we warmly wish all our clients, partners and colleagues across the EU institutions, bodies and agencies a joyful Christmas and a peaceful, well-deserved festive break.
This holiday season also marks an important milestone for the Centre. Just days before Christmas, we unveiled our refreshed visual identity - reflecting how the Centre has evolved in its services and technologies, and reinforcing our role as a trusted partner for multilingual communication across the European Union.
As we look ahead to the new year, we do so with optimism and ambition, ready to continue evolving and strengthening our cooperation in service of multilingual Europe. Supporting clear, accessible communication in all EU languages remains at the heart of our mandate.
We look forward to working with you in the year ahead. ✨

💬 Empowering women through language - live from the in Edinburgh 👩🎓
On Tuesday, the Translation Centre's Director, Ildikó Horváth, delivered a 📣 keynote speech at the WG10 Summit 'Interparliamentary Alliance for the Empowerment of Women in the Economy & Diplomacy' on the power of language in advancing gender equality across the EU and beyond. 🌍
✨ Held at Heriot-Watt University as part of The Scotland Forum 2025, Ildikó's contribution explored the EU's longstanding commitment to gender equality - from its legislative foundations to more recent regulation and its vital role in promoting inclusive communication strategies. She also spotlighted how the Translation Centre is addressing gender bias in texts - and in AI-based translation tools - by keeping human expertise firmly at the heart of the process. 🤝
The Centre is committed to supporting fair, respectful and inclusive language across all 24 EU official languages. ✊ Because words don't just reflect reality - they shape it. 💖
