When Himanshu Upadhyay moved to Luxembourg, it wasn’t just for a new role — it was at a turning point in his life.

Amid the Covid pandemic, personal loss, and major career changes, he took on the challenge of leading the turnaround of an international health insurance business facing persistent losses.
Two years later, the company returned to profitability and was acquired by Foyer Group, becoming part of its Global Health division.

Today, Himanshu continues his journey in Luxembourg — drawn by its unique mix of strong local roots and a truly international workforce. A “Made in Luxembourg” model shaped by over 25 nationalities.

Beyond his role, he is also helping strengthen ties between Luxembourg and India, raising awareness of Luxembourg’s financial centre within India’s growing business community.
