​This morning, the Eid al-Adha greeting event was held between the Head and members of the Customs Center of Misrata Free Zone Port, in a cordial meeting dominated by an atmosphere of affection, appreciation, and the exchange of congratulations and blessings on this great occasion.

​Asking Allah the Almighty to bring it back to us and to the Islamic nation with goodness, prosperity, and blessings.

عطلة رسمية بمناسبة حلول عيد الأضحى المبارك 1447هـ - 2026م

​تنفيذاً لقرار دولة رئيس حكومة الوحدة الوطنية رقم (231) لسنة 2026 م، بشأن تحديد عطلة يوم الوقوف بعرفة وعيد الأضحى المبارك .

و​عليه فإن يوم الثلاثاء القادم الموافق 26 مايو 2026 م سيكون عطلة رسمية بمناسبة يوم عرفة وتمتد إجازة عيد الأضحى المبارك طيلة أيام الأربعاء الخميس والجمعة الموافق 27 - 28 - 29 من شهر مايو 2026م .

​Official Holiday on the Occasion of the Blessed Eid Al-Adha 1447 AH - 2026 AD

​Pursuant to the Resolution of His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity No. (231) of the year 2026 AD, regarding the determination of the holiday for the Day of Standing at Arafah and the blessed Eid Al-Adha.

​Accordingly, next Tuesday, corresponding to May 26, 2026 AD, will be an official holiday on the occasion of the Day of Arafah, and the blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday shall extend throughout the days of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, corresponding to May 27 - 28 - 29 of the month of May 2026 AD.

​في خطوة تعزز مكانة ميناء المنطقة الحرة بمصراتة إستقبل الميناء بنجاح سفينة الحاويات الحديثة (GUO YUN HAI) التي أعلنت عن تدشين أولى رحلات الخط الملاحي المباشر للناقل العالمي كوسكو من الموانئ الصينية إلى ليبيا.

​Misrata Free Zone Port Customs Center Receives Wide Praise Following the Successful Reception of the First Direct COSCO Line Voyage from China

​In a step that enhances the status of the Misrata Free Zone Port, the port successfully received the modern container ship GUO YUN HAI, which announced the inauguration of the first voyage of the direct shipping line of the global carrier COSCO from Chinese ports to Libya.

​In appreciation of this operational success, Alam Al-Bihar Shipping Agencies Company, in its capacity as the shipping agent for this line, expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Head and Members of the Misrata Free Zone Port Customs Center for their high professionalism and exceptional efforts in overcoming difficulties and completing customs procedures in record time.

​This cooperation reflects the high efficiency of customs personnel in keeping pace with massive trade flows and reducing time, which directly contributes to supporting the stability of the local market and driving the wheel of the national economy.

إعلان بشأن تحديد موعد إجراء إمتحانات الترقية لأعضاء حرس الجمارك المستهدفين لعام 2025م

في إطار إستكمال ما ورد بالتعميم الصادر عن رئيس اللجنة العليا لإمتحانات الترقية لسنة 2025م، يسرّنا أن ننشر لكم ملحق قوائم السادة الضباط وضباط الصف المستهدفين لإجراء إمتحانات الترقية.

وعليه نُفيدكم بأن موعد إجراء إمتحانات الترقية للأعضاء التابعين لمديرية جمارك مصراتة سيكون إن شاء الله تعالى يوم السبت الموافق 6 يونيو 2026م بقاعة مجمع الحديد و الصلب مصراتة على تمام الساعة (08:00) الثامنة صباحاً

كما نأمل من جميع السادة الواردة أسماؤهم بالقوائم المرفقة ضرورة الالتزام بما يلي:

​Announcement Regarding the Scheduling of Promotion Exams for Targeted Customs Guard Personnel for the Year 2025

​Within the framework of completing what was stated in the circular issued by the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Promotion Exams for the year 2025, we are pleased to publish the supplementary lists of officers and non-commissioned officers targeted to take the promotion exams.

​Accordingly, we inform you that the date for conducting the promotion exams for personnel affiliated with the Misrata Customs Directorate will be, Allah willing, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Misrata Iron and Steel Complex hall, at exactly (08:00) eight o'clock in the morning.

​We also hope that all individuals whose names are included in the attached lists strictly adhere to the following:

​● Attendance at the specified time without delay.
​● Adherence to full military uniform.
​● Bringing the military ID or proof of identity.

الاجتماع الأول لرئاسة مركز جمرك ميناء المنطقة الحرة مصراتة مع الشركات الموردة والمخلصين الجمركيين

​مصراتة 14 مايو 2026م

​احتضنت قاعة الخوارزمي بمركز جمرك ميناء المنطقة الحرة بمصراتة صباح اليوم الاجتماع الأول الذي جمع رئاسة المركز مع نخبة من المخلصين الجمركيين وممثلي الشركات الموردة

​حيث تتخلل الإجتماع طرح نقاط جوهرية ومناقشة التحديات والمشاكل الميدانية التي تواجه عملية استخراج البضائع ووضع آليات عملية لتجاوزها لضمان سرعة الإنجاز.

​كما تم التأكيد على ضرورة استيفاء كافة الموافقات والإفراجات النهائية قبل البدء في التصرف بالبضائع وذلك ضماناً لسلامة المسار القانوني .

وتم أيضاً التشديد على أهمية وضع الكرشم ج ل 159 تحت الحراسة الجمركية المشددة كإجراء تنظيمي ووقائي .

هذا وقد أعرب المشاركون في الختام عن تقديرهم لهذه الخطوة مؤكدين على التزامهم التام بالضوابط القانونية المنظمة للعمل الجمركي والعمل بروح الفريق الواحد لتذليل الصعاب وضمان انسيابية السلع داخل الميناء بما يخدم المصلحة العامة

The First Meeting of the Misrata Free Zone Port Customs Center Leadership with Importing Companies and Customs Brokers

​Misrata | May 14, 2026

​Al-Khwarizmi Hall at the Customs Center of Misrata Free Zone Port hosted this morning the first meeting, which brought together the center's leadership with a selection of customs brokers and representatives of importing companies.

​During the meeting, core points were addressed, and field challenges and issues hindering the process of goods clearance were discussed.

Practical mechanisms were established to overcome these obstacles and ensure swift completion.

​The meeting also emphasized the necessity of obtaining all required approvals and final releases before any disposal of goods, ensuring the integrity of the legal process.

​Furthermore, there was a strong emphasis on the importance of placing the customs seal (Krishm) J.L. 159 under strict customs guard as a regulatory and preventive measure.

​In conclusion, the participants expressed their appreciation for this step, affirming their full commitment to the legal regulations governing customs work and their dedication to working as one team to overcome difficulties and ensure the smooth flow of goods within the port, in a manner that serves the public interest.

تدشين خط ملاحي مباشر بين الصين وليبيا عبر ميناء المنطقة الحرة مصراتة

مصراتة 6 مايو 2026

في إطار دعم حركة التجارة الدولية وتعزيز كفاءة العمل الجمركي بالمنافذ البحرية، يُدشن خط ملاحي مباشر يربط جمهورية الصين الشعبية بالدولة الليبية عبر ميناء المنطقة الحرة بمصراتة، وذلك مع وصول سفينة الحاويات "GUO YUN HAI" التابعة لخط "COSCO Shipping" في أولى رحلات هذا الخط.

وتحمل السفينة، التي تم بناؤها خلال عام 2026، على متنها نحو (1000) حاوية من البضائع والسلع المختلفة، حيث باشرت الجهات المختصة بالميناء تنفيذ عمليات التفريغ وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة، على أن تُستكمل عمليات الشحن بعدد مماثل من الحاويات ضمن دورة التشغيل الخاصة بالخط الملاحي.

ويأتي تدشين هذا الخط المباشر في ظل محدودية خدمات الشحن البحري المباشر من موانئ الشرق الأقصى إلى ليبيا، حيث كانت غالبية الشحنات تمر عبر موانئ وسيطة، الأمر الذي يجعل من هذا الربط خطوة نوعية تسهم في تقليص زمن النقل، وخفض التكاليف اللوجستية، وتعزيز كفاءة سلاسل الإمداد.

وقد اتخذت الإدارات ومركز جمرك ميناء المنطقة الحرة مصراته بميناء المنطقة الحرة مصراتة كافة الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان انسيابية عمليات الإفراج والمعالجة الجمركية، وفق الأطر القانونية والتنظيمية، بما يعزز من سرعة تداول البضائع ورفع كفاءة الأداء التشغيلي.

ومن المخطط أن يعمل هذا الخط الملاحي بواقع رحلتين إلى ثلاث رحلات شهرياً، ضمن خدمة North Africa Express ، بما يوفر انتظاماً في تدفق السلع والبضائع، ويدعم استقرار السوق المحلي.

كما يعكس دخول خط "COSCO Shipping" إلى السوق الليبي مستوى متقدماً من الثقة في كفاءة وجاهزية المنافذ البحرية، ويعزز من فرص التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري بين ليبيا وجمهورية الصين الشعبية، إلى جانب ترسيخ مكانة ميناء المنطقة الحرة بمصراتة كمحور لوجستي رئيسي للتجارة الدولية.

As part of efforts to support international trade and enhance the efficiency of customs operations at maritime ports, the Libyan Customs Authority announces the launch of a direct shipping line connecting the People's Republic of China with Libya through Misrata Free Zone Port. This milestone coincides with the arrival of the container vessel "GUO YUN HAI," operated by COSCO Shipping, on its maiden voyage along this route.

The vessel, built in 2026, carries approximately 1,000 containers of various goods and commodities. Port authorities have commenced unloading operations in accordance with approved procedures, with plans to reload a similar number of containers as part of the line's operational cycle.

The introduction of this direct route comes amid previously limited direct container shipping services from the Far East to Libya, where most shipments historically relied on transshipment ports. This development is expected to significantly reduce transit times, lower logistical costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Customs departments and relevant units at Misrata Free Zone Port have undertaken all necessary measures to ensure smooth clearance and processing procedures, in full compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks, thereby enhancing cargo flow and operational performance.

The service is scheduled to operate with two monthly sailings under the "North Africa Express" network, ensuring a steady flow of goods and contributing to market stability.

The entry of COSCO Shipping into the Libyan market reflects growing international confidence in the readiness and efficiency of Libya's maritime ports, while also strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Libya and China, and reinforcing Misrata Free Zone Port's role as a key logistics hub for global trade.
